My POV

After what happened the Faulkerson family continued to lived. Many things have changed due to a sudden pandemic that happened a year ago. The mortality rate keeps on rising and people are suffering from the virus that was spread. New policies and health protocols have been implemented which is partially followed by the citizens, some are still stubbornly living their lives. With their hardships and team work the Mendoza- Faulkerson family have coped up with the events and lived in the "New Normal".

Sieg never stopped talking about how his "ahdi" is the best dad he had. He always watches videos of Jay with Aycee whose now two years old.

Well for Lein, she did not accepted projects (luckily) at the first year, instead she took the time to heal and relax from everything. Lein was blaming herself from what happened to her husband, she always thought that if she just didn't let Jay took the first move it would've been better, if she trusted her husband more they didn't fought that hard and end up to him being layed on the hospital. To distract her from those thoughts and help her heal they traveled as a family, they just enjoyed the moments that they are together. Then she started accepting projects again, even Sieg and Aycee had their tvc's. She also talked to Aj and is now in good terms with her. They hang out sometimes with the kids.

Sieg was an endorser of an instant noodles, while Aycee is a milk and diaper endorser. Sieg is now in a preparatory school. He's more active than what Lein expected, and loved going to school. While Aycee, she comes with Lein at work sometimes not until the pandemic happened.

In that 2 years, different moments have occured and memories were made, like how Sieg cried for being left inside the school classroom, how Aycee learned how to walk in a weird way, how Sieg was irritated at himself because he keeps on switching the letter 'M' and 'N' when writing, how Lein was disappointed when Aycee said 'papa' as her first word, how they adjusted to the pandemic, how Sieg become the best kuya for Aycee, they faced those up and downs together as a family, and it just made them tougher.

Today is not a special day but the family has plans on visiting the cemetery.

"Kuya don't forget to wear your facesheild and facemask, mama will look into your backpack, can you bring it to me?" Sieg loves to packed his own bag, so to make sure that he didn't brought something silly Lein checks it.

"Okay, mama. I'll just go play with Aycee first"

Lein scrunched her nose at her son's cuteness.

She was almost done in preparing the things, when she felt arms wrapping around her waist, the guy rested his chin on her shoulder and kissed her on the cheeks, which made Lein smile.

"Are you done? Tara na?" He asked in a low voice, almost whispering.

Lein turned around and wrapped her arms on his neck then gave him a peck on the lips. Lein smiled sweetly and was about to give him another kiss when they both heard a loud shout.

"Papa!" The baby waddled to the guy who welcomed him with a hug.

"Hi, you look so pretty on that dress, my love" he said while puting a strand of hair behind her ear. The baby giggled and just clung to his neck.

Lein smiled at how sweet they interact "Kuya, come let's ride the car na" then they walked to the car followed by the two.

"Ate May, ate Gigi walang magpapapasok sa bahay ok? Pag may dumating na shoppee alcoholan muna. Nana Lili complete na po talaga yung list na ibinigay mo sakin?" Lein asked while strapping Sieg in the car seat.
