23. confessions

it was a pleasant morning.

taehyung was up and ready on his way to the nursery with a basket full of raspberry.

the pups are usually cranky in the morning, especially when they have to separate from their parents. so the omega hoped a bit of sweetness would cheer them up.

to his surprise, he saw jungkook outside the nursery when he reached there.

honestly the alpha was everywhere. he helps with literally anything anyone asks for, eventhough usually quite, he would easily warm up to anyone, flashing that smile and anyone would swoon.

taehyung just stood on his tracks for sometime, just watching the alpha being playful with the pups. the little ones were crawling and running over the alpha, all of them excitedly talking him about something which jungkook was reciprocating with equal fervor.

it was just too cute.

like this, jungkook seems so gentle with his boyish charms, none of that 'alpha-ness' anywhere to be seen-
and it just makes taehyung fall for the other more, if its possible.

soon the alpha noticed taehyung, waving at him from where he was on the ground and taehyung skipped towards him.

then, hwasa has came out to collect the pups for their class and all of them had ran after her with their excited little feets.

"how are you so good with kids?!" taehyung had asked with an extend of his hand to help jungkook stand up.

"they're just adorable-" the alpha had said pulling at taehyungs hand, causing the omega to stumble into the alphas lap with a squeak.

jungkook then buried his nose into taehyungs neck, breathing in that fresh cherry scent, taehyung giggling and squirming when jungkooks hair tickled his face.

"we are going to have lots of pups" jungkook then said out of nowhere pulling taehyung closer.

"oh really? how many?" taehyung raised his eyebrows, curious, yet playful.

jungkook pretended like he's in deep thought, taehyung laughing into his sweater paws at it,
"eight!" the alpha then proudly said.

taehyung spluttered.

"how are we ever going to take care of eight pups?!" taehyung asked incredulously.

"dont worry, cherry. your alpha has everything planned" jungkook patted his own chest, squaring up.

"tell me" taehyung then said, him biting into his lip to stop smiling.

jungkooks face visibly brightened up.

"so my house is small now--so we will build a new one, somewhere on the right side of the village--" jungkook said as if taking out points from his memory "--then they'll have lots of space to play. there is so much space there, we can maybe plant crops or something. our pups will grow up healthy--" the alpha was so excited to explain his plans and taehyung was all ears.

"i hope none of our pups get my hair" taehyung wrinkled his nose.

"why? they would be like little cotton candies. it'd be so adorable-" jungkook said it so seriously, but taehyung huffed.

"i dont want our kids to look like dessert!" taehyung whined and the alpha groaned still repeating that it will be cute.

taehyung pouted, curling in on jungkooks chest, still complaining and bickering.

"we are not even mated yet and here we're planning about kids" jungkook then stated, almost as if he is astonished at themselves.

taehyung giggled.
