Chapter 20

Adele's POV

"Hey." I say walking down the stairs seeing Ace standing at the door. He walks in closing the door behind him.

"You look good." I say and he smirks at me. He had a white buttoned shirt tucked neatly int the black tailored perfectly pants. He looked so good. He even had a fresh trim. I could see.

"Well youre one to talk. You look very good." He says as I look at my red dress. It was small, silky, tight and, thin straps.

I had matching red lipstick as my hair was pulled back in a ponytail. I put on my heels as he walks over.

"Its non transferrable." I tell him and he chuckles kissing my lips. He was quiet today. Not sure why he was.

"Hey." Paris says walking out. Ace has been staying at his old place as it is so busy here. Paris is leaving for college tomorrow. My moms been staying here. Londons been back for my mom too.

"You guys look amazing." Paris says to us and I laugh.

"Thank you." I say. "You leaving us tomorrow?"

"Yes. Just here tonight." She says. "So make it count."

"Yeah yeah. See you tomorrow morning." I tell her.

"Oh well.... Hi." My mom says walking out into the hallway too.

"Ms Young." Ace says and she smiles. "You guys look so stunning. Where is my phone. Let me take a picture."

"No. No..." I say dragging Ace out the house. "We will be here forever its already 10pm and I am so hungry." I say getting into the car as Ace held the door open.

Ace never usually took me on dates. He would promise and he would get busy or he would forget. He wasnt always attentive so today im really enjoying this attention.

"So where we going?"

"Well first I have something to show you." He says and I look at him. "You know how surprises make me feel." I tell him and he chuckles.

"Its good don't worry." He says and I just watch him focus on the road. He had his hand on my thigh. He didn't even complain about the size of my dress. Ace was different this time round. It was so weird but it was like he wasnt on switch mode every 2 minutes. He didn't flip over small things...

We drove for like 15 minutes as I had changed the song again on the bluetooth before Ace parked the car and got out. I looked at the house we were parked infront of. It was a massive house. Mansion even. The gates were golden as we drove in. They had a fountain at the huge drive way. I looked at the white bentley parked infront. It was Ace's car. I knew the plate.

"Whats happening?" I say.

"What do you think of the house?" He asks me.

"Its beautiful." I say. "Why?"

"Its ours."

"Ace." I say looking at him. "This looks like a couple million."

"Yeah. So?"

"Ace." I say as I shove him back laughing. I couldnt believe he went and did this.

"Look, I want us to have a new home new start." He says. "Ive paid off your current house."

"I know you got money but..."

"No buts." He says. "If were married. Were married."

"You got the keys?" I ask him and he nods handing them to me as I scream out hugging him. I press my lips on his as he chuckles at my reaction.
