Chapter 45:Team Work

3rd Person POV

Mismatched eyes clashed with  black colored ones as both of the teams face off against each other.

"(Y/N),"Todoroki mumbled as he still couldn't get over the fact that his master ignored him when he asked her to be his teammate.

'Is there a reason why she didn't team up with me ....is this perhaps another test if I am able to withstand my ground against her,'he continued to ponder while the female mumbled something to her teammate.

Without any warning ,numerous vines spread around Todoroki's team that made Iida and Momo act immediately ,as they moved towards another direction.

"Hey,is that all what class 1-A is capable of?,"Shinso started as Ibara tried to use her vines one at a time while Todoroki continues to freeze it.

"I don't know how you guys snag those spots but from what I can see you guys are lame, save for (Y/N) of course,"Iida who is currently focusing on his mobility while listening to Shinso's taunt couldn't help but find too rude. While Momo ,who was helping Todoroki with the troublesome vines also couldn't unhear those remarks.

Rolling some of miniture dice on the ground ,(Y/N) made sure to  give her teammates some pills to chew as she had installed one of medicine capsules in her pockets.

"You guys may have good quirks but what's the use of it if your heads are full of ignorance,"taunting them again gave (Y/N) a chance to click her small remote controlled device that she had hid behind her back,which released an unnoticeable gas that didn't have any scent.

"THAT'S NOT-,"Iida was about to comment about the purple haired teen's remarks but he immediately halted when his knees were about to buckle down.

Grinning Shinso couldn't help but be amused as he watched the other team stood frozen as well the other teams. The hedgehog who was about to jump from his teammates felt sluggish that it had stopped him from his possible launch off.

Todoroki stood there where his team hoisted him up , puzzled as he felt his whole body go paralyzed.

'What???,' it was not only Todoroki who  thought of this but also the other teams,audience and the commentators.

"WHAT?!WHAT IS HAPPENNING WITH ALL OF THE CONTESTANTS?!!ARE THEY PARALYZED OR SOMETHING?!"

The human Pikachu whose brain was fried, regain his bearings and glanced around confused on what's happening until he felt that his hands were about to crash down because of Todoroki's weight which was quite strange.Though,team (Y/N) looked fine as the pills secured their strength and quirks.

Flashback

"Ibara-san ,"the blacknette called making the moss colored haired girl turn her head to the girl's direction.

"What is it (Y/N),"the latter replied making the girl glance at her other team mates whose attention divided from her and their attackers in which the girl evaded while carrying them on both of her arms whilst the other girl was on her shoulder.

"Later,Ibara I want you to try and distract Todoroki with your vines and make a thin vine barrier at my mark so that we wouldn't be seen,"(Y/N) continued before she twist her body and avoided Jiro's earphone jack.

"Shinso you need to try and taunt Iida and Yaomomo.You don't have to get them to answer you but you just need to make sure that they feel either annoyed,irk or offended so that they won't notice what I'm about to do,"jumping to not step on the purple balls ,her team nodded .

"Then what about me and that spark guy?What do you mean by not notice,"Tetsutetsu asked feeling like he will be useless in this game.

"You Tetsutetsu need to defend us using your hardening quirk .Oh and no need to worry about Pikachu because knowing Todoroki he will use him to  slow down the other teams and he would most likely be brain dead for a minute or an hour,"nodding Tetsutetsu sighed in relief as he wouldn't slow down his team.

"And what I mean by not notice is that I will roll some dice that will release some sort of gas thay.acts like mild aphrodisiac and you guys need to chew on some pills that I will give yo-"

"Aphro-WHAT?!,"Ibara was befaulled but (Y/N) explained to the virtuous teen that it wasn't the aphrodisiac that ignites arousal but the type that makes a person weak and sluggish.

"It's surprising that you're talking to us more (Y/N),"Tetsutetsu smiled which intervined the still rambling teen.

'I don't have a choice it is either I get this fight over with or it's me suffering from this painful cramps!'
