HARRY'S POV
Without Y/N being my morning alarm, I had to deal with missing most of breakfast and walking into the Great Hall late. When I walked in, I received nothing but eyes.

Most of them came from the Gryffindors, who were glaring in disbelief.

The Slytherins were laughing at me.

Ravenclaws were awkwardly staring me up and down, glancing at each other in confusion.

And the Hufflepuffs were gossiping to each other.

"What's going on?" I found my seat across from Y/N, leaning over the table to kiss her cheek. She let me do it but, she had no reaction to it, "Brilliant." I mumbled and sat down.

Hermione passed me her copy of The Daily Prophet, "We warned you." She looked away.

"What is this?" I grabbed it.

"Read it." Ron suggested, taking a large bite out of his toast.

I peeped over at Y/N who was smiling to herself and pretending she wasn't listening. She looked up at me as she took a sip of her water, and smirked after finishing it.

""Is The Chosen One now Unchosen?"" I read out loud and twisted my brows before pulling the parchment closer to my face.

"You've got competition on the way." Ron watched as Seamus walked over.

"Morning, Y/N," He greeted her and hugged her by the shoulders, "Heard you were free now, yeah?"

"What? No." I replied for her.

"Mm." Y/N raised her brows and grinned as she looked away.

I scrunched by brows, "Well," Seamus interrupted the awkward situation, "I'm positive I'm not the only one but, I'd love to go out somewhere with you."

"That sounds not completely horrid." Y/N smiled up at him.

"It "sounds" like you don't have a boyfriend." I dropped the newspaper to fold my arms over the table.

"What's that?" Y/N voiced as Seamus left.

"This isn't funny, Y/N." I told her with a straight face before balling up the papers.

"Want to fight about it?" Y/N raised a brow at me.

"No. I still don't reckon being wrong." I threw the paper in her direction, all in which she stopped mid air with the use of her powers.

"Just apologize, Harry." Ron muttered as Y/N stood up from her spot.

"I just don't feel like I should-"

"Everyone who thinks that Harry Potter, the Chosen One himself, is right, stand up right now!" Y/N shouted from the center of the room.

No one stood up.

Except for one, Romilda Vane.

"Alright, spectacular- you can sit down now, Vane." Y/N ordered, making her sit back down, "Now, if you agree with me, then stand-"

She was interrupted by almost everyone in the room standing up for her.

"Ron, Really?" I furrowed my brows at him.

"I'd prefer to stay relevant even if it's a tiny bit, Harry." Ron shifted, staying quiet.

"That's all, thank you." Y/N motioned for them all to take their seats and walked back over to us, "I rest my case." She spoke over the sounds of everyone coming over and calling her name.

"About time," Blaise was the first to our table, "No offense, Potter." He waved me off.

"Hi, Blaise." Y/N let him take her hand and kiss it afterward.
