HARRY'S POV
"Wait!" Hermione stopped me from running through the others who were also running, "Ron has something to tell you."

"Right, so I was thinking, it doesn't matter if we find a Horcrux because we need to be able to destroy it." Ron started.

I nodded for him to continue.

"And I remembered how you used a basilisk fang for the diary and it's just what we need," Ron and Hermione glanced at each other in agreement, "Hermione and I have a clue where to find one."

"Okay, brilliant," I reached in my back pocket, "Take this." I handed them my map.

"Thanks." Ron sighed happily and they quickly turned around to leave.

Too quickly.

So I squinted at them.

"Stop." I demanded, making them turn back around. I locked eyes with Hermione, "Where is she?"

I knew that I didn't even have to say her name for them to know who I was referring to.

"To whom are you referring?" Ron shrugged, causing Hermione to nudge him.

"Guys, this isn't funny." I stepped closer to them.

"We know it isn't," Hermione eyed Ron, "It's just.. we don't know where she went." She avoided eye contact.

I blinked at her, "You're lying."

"What? What makes you think-"

"Hermione.." I pinched my nose with a sigh, "Tell me where she is. I'm serious." I tried staying calm after dropping my arm.

"We don't.. know." Hermione replied sternly.

FIRST PERSON
"You don't want to do this." I overheard Draco from behind the corner. I was hidden, trying not to be seen by him yet.

"I've got to tell someone, Draco, they're our friends-"

"They're dead." Draco raised his voice at Goyle, "And if you even think about telling anyone you'll be just like them."

I didn't want to believe they were gone. I closed my eyes, taking deep breaths and trying not to think about what happened.

"Now, go find him and take him to the Dark Lord." Draco continued, referring to Harry.

After that, I heard footsteps. They seemed to be headed in the opposite direction until I heard another set of feet.

Coming my way.

I stepped away from the wall, revealing myself and making him stop in his tracks.

"Malfoy."

"Riddle."

There was a moment when we just stood there, scanning each other with different amounts of anger.

As unexpected, I kicked him in the stomach, receiving a grunt from him on his way to the hard floor we stood on.

I swooped down and took his wand, "No-" He started right before I broke it in half.

"Shame." I voiced as he stood up.

"I'm not going to fight a girl." Draco shook his head while advancing back.
