"have you packed everything?" jack asked nicole, the boy's hands on his hips as he watched his girlfriend zip up one of her final suitcases.
"i think so," she nodded.
"what are you doing with the apartment key?"
"i'll keep it for now until mollie gets back or something." nicole shrugged, watching jack look at her confused, "what..?
"can't you just post it through the letterbox when you lock the door? she's only gone a week." jack suggested, "if you won't be living here anymore then-"
"it gives me a reason to talk to her." nicole replied, "so i'll keep it."
"but then you're just forcing her to communicate." he mentioned, watching nicole sigh and shake her head, "nic i don't think that's fair on her, you can both text each other when you're ready."
"okay." nicole shrugged, "i'll post it through the letterbox."
"cool." he nodded and smiled, "did you end up taking another test since we got back from new york?"
