Two Missing Daughters

Chapter 20

I sat down next to Maria and Anastasia far across from Olga and Tatiana because i was still disappointed from her actions earlier. "How was your day my daughter's?" Papa asked eating his soup "It went wonderful Papa! Me and Nastya picked a lot of flowers! We also took some pictures of it!" Maria exclaimed. I suddenly realized that Anastasia havn't returned my camera yet. I bumped her shoulder and made eye contact with her as Maria continued to talk about her day "Remember to return my camera after dinner okay?" I stated she slightly nodded her head and continued to eat her soup. "Papa how long are we staying in Germany?" Tatiana asked "For about a week then we will head to Livadia for Olga's birthday" Papa smiled.

Dinner finished. I immediately headed to Alexei's sick room to check up on him. I knocked on the door. Rasputin opened the door with Papa and Mama in a wheelchair. Alexei's eyes widened and a smile grew on his face "Sonyechka! Glad your here!" He exclaimed as he opened his arms. I ran up to him ignoring Mama,Papa and Rasputin's presence. I gently hugged him and patted his head and sat beside him. "How are you Sofia? I've missed you for a while" He smiled "Im all fine Alyosha how about you? Have you eaten are you feeling any better?" I stroked his hair. I looked over at my parents and saw them smiling. I looked at Rasputin he was staring at my lower body. I felt very uncomfortable. "Im getting a little better now and yes i've eaten! The soup was delicious!" He exclaimed. "What's Rasputin doing here Mama?" I looked at my parents. "He's here to heal your brother and do his prayer ritual" she answered. I started to think about Tatiana's words earlier. And also the rumor about him and us. What if he's a disgusting man?. I thought.

I kissed Mama,Papa and Alyosha goodbye and left the room. I headed to our room to see my camera broken. My blood boiled it has a little note in it. I walked over to see what the note says about. "My dear sister, Im sorry for breaking your camera i left it on the ground for a while and accidentally stepped in it. Dont worry i'll buy you a new one. Im sorry. -Nastenka❤". I putted the note to the table and began to examine my camera. I studied it for a while its broken i think it cant be revived or fixed anymore.  Anastasia bursted in door with her hands on the back and walked up to me " Close your eyes!" She smiled. I closed my eyes and putted my hand in the front. I opened my eyes and saw a brand new camera with a heart sticker on it. "A new camera! Thank you so much Anastasia!" I hugged her. "No problem im sorry for breaking your camera. I know you will get mad at me and i dont want to be scolded so i bought a new one so you wont get mad at me" she looked down. I held her chin up and made eye contact with her "I dont get mad at people who tells the truth" i smiled. She smiled and hugged me and left the room.

I threw the old camera in the trash and placed the new camera on my table. Tatiana walks in and sat beside me. She putted her hand in mine "Sonyechka, Im sorry for the way i acted earlier. It slipped out of my mouth!" She exclaimed. I looked at her and said "Its okay Tanushka i understand dont worry" i smiled. She hugged me. Olga walks in and sat in the couch "Hello Olishka!" I greeted. She looked at me and smiled. She held up the camera and asked us to smile. Tatiana and i slightly smiled. After Olga was done taking the photo she looked at us and smiled "You two look like twins!" She chuckled. "Everybody say's that! What features do we even have in common!" Tatiana looked at me "Well... You got the hair,the nose,the lips and you both look like Mother" she chuckled. I threw a pillow at her "Oh come on Tatiana looks more like mother not me" i crossed my arms. Tatiana hits me with a pillow and looked at me "Oh please! You look more like mother" Tatiana said with sass in her voice "No fighting its night time" Olga said "You look like father!" Tatiana points at Olga. I chuckled. She threw a pillow at us and rolled her eyes. "PILLOW FIGHT!". Tatiana exclaimed. We grabbed our pillows and attacked Olga. She hitted me in the face which made me fell on the floor. They continued to attack me because i was defenceless.

We dropped to the floor catching our breaths and laughing. We heard the doors opened. We sat up and looked who it is. "Girls! I can hear you all the way to the library! Keep it down!" Anna Vyrubova scolded. When she left the room we continued to laugh. "Its time for us to sleep. Good night my dear sisters" Olga kissed us in the forehead. I said goodnight to both of them and layed in my bed and cuddled with Sony who didn't even wake up to the disaster screaming. I turned off my lamp and closed my eyes to sleep.

I will be rushing this book and jumping over to Olga's birthday immediately then Christmas then New year chapters <3 (Dont worry its still a long journey with Sofia and the Romanov's! <3).
