📖 CLUELESS (part 6)

"how's the party?" Mr. Park asked his daughter who just came in.
"oh, hi dad! It was great, lots of food and music" Chaeyoung said.
"Have you decided where to go for college?" Mr. Park asked.
"Uh... Can I just go where Nini would attend?" Chaeyoung asked.
"CAU? Are you sure? You'll be staying in the dorms, princess" Mr. Park said.
"Dorm? Jennie?" She asked. She thought that it will be just Jisoo?
"Yes. I heard Jennie and Jisoo will live in the dorms" he said.
"Huh? How far is CAU from here dad?" Chaeyoung asked.
"At least 3-4 hour drive from here. Why?" Mr. Park asked.
"That's... Far" Chaeyoung's voice was barely a whisper.
"Well, you still have a year to decide, princess. Don't worry. We'll support whatever you want to do" Mr. Park said.
Chaeyoung just nodded. She haven't understood anything after she heard the words 'dorm' and 'Jennie' in one sentence.
"Sure dad. I'm going to bed. Goodnight. See you in the morning" Chaeyoung said.
"Honey, don't forget we have lunch with the Kims tomorrow" Mrs. Park said from the kitchen.
"Which Kim?" Chaeyoung asked.
"Both. It's a simple farewell gathering, for Jennie and Jisoo" Mrs. Park said.
"Oh. Okay mom. Goodnight" Chaeyoung said and up she went to her room.
Even though she doesn't have the energy, she tried to take a half bath and brush her teeth. When she's in her pj's already she tried to close her eyes and get some sleep but she can't.
The words 'dorm' and 'Jennie' are still taunting her feelings and she don't know what to do.
Her eyes went on the paper bag that was sitting on her study table. It was her gift for Jennie. Beside the paper bag is a capybara stuffed animal the same one that is inside the paper bag.
She stood up and get the plushie, it was a couple stuffed toy and she's going to give the other one to Jennie.
She needed someone to talk to.
"So, she's leaving, huh?" Chaeyoung told the capybara.
"She's going to leave me. And she didn't even tell me. Am I not important? Doesn't she love me?" Chaeyoung continued her monologue.
She sighed and answered her own questions.
"I guess I'm not. I guess she doesn't" Chaeyoung said.
She grunts and messed her hair in frustration. She's sad and hurt and confused and... and she feels that her heart is being torn apart.
Why?
She's clueless.
Clueless of all the things that's she currently feeling. Emotions that only Jennie can make her feel.
Emotions that she THINKS that Jennie makes her feel.
She might be innocent but she isn't an idiot, she knows that there is something special between her and Jennie. However, she isn't sure if it's truly how love feels.
And maybe Jennie doesn't feel the same.
She reached for her phone and decided to send someone message.
