Jennie didn't waste a second the moment she got a message from Rosie, she knows that her girlfriend needs her the most in this kind of situation. She reached Rosie's unit in no time. She opened the door without knocking and was welcomed by a gloomy atmosphere.
Their friends; Jisoo and Lisa were sitting together on the couch, Jisoo leaning her head on Lisa's shoulder, the latter consoling her sad girlfriend. While Seulgi is comforting her crying girl Joy, sitting on the same couch with Jisoo and Lisa.
Lisa and Seulgi were the only ones who noticed her presence, and they automatically pointed at a room where Jennie assumed Rosie is in.
She sighed and nodded a silent thank you at the two. She proceeds to the said room and saw her girl sitting on the floor, her head buried on her knees. Sensing another presence inside the room, Rosie looked up and saw the face that she wanted to see.
The moment Rosie looked up with puffy eyes, Jennie's heart broke a little. She was weak in this kind of emotions from the tall blonde goddess, when the girl cannot handle such feelings and Jennie is the only one who can comfort her.
"Unnie..." Rosie said, her voice was cracked and tears are about to fall from her red puffy eyes for God knows how many times already.
“I’m here, love” Jennie said and offered her hand to Rosie and helped the girl up. She was immediately engulfed by a hug. Though she’s a bit surprised, she relaxed and rubbed some comforting circles on her girlfriend's back, knowing that it always calms the girl.
“She’s gone…” Rosie cried burying her head on Jennie’s shoulder, despite their height difference.
“I’m sorry for your loss” Jennie said as she caress Rosie’s hair. She cups her girlfriend's face and kissed the girl’s nose and cheek and wiped her tears.
“I can’t believe she’s gone. She left me” Rosie sobs.
Jennie sighed. She can’t blame her girlfriend for being so emotional. The girl loves Ariel so much, she even gets jealous when Rosie spends more time with Ariel than her. They bought the goldfish when Rosie felt a little homesick since Joohwang is in her parents house and the only pet allowed in the apartment is a pet goldfish. It doesn't even have a decent filter system and an oxygen tank and just sits in a bowl.
“You’ll be okay soon, Love. At least we can hope that she’s in a better place now.” Jennie tried to convince her girlfriend that everything will be okay.
“Really?” Rosie asked. Her nose in already red as well as her tear stained cheeks.
“Of course, Love” Jennie said.
Rosie wiped her face and sniffed as she looked at her girlfriend. Jennie gave her a sincere smile and chuckled at how cute Rosie looks like at the moment.
“Are you ready to say goodbye to her?” She asked.
Rosie nodded as tears start to form again in her eyes. Jennie volunteered to flush Ariel in the toilet just because Rosie can’t do it by herself. The girl had her eyes closed the whole process, clinging onto Jennie when she heard the water slowly flushing.
“You want to eat some ice cream?” Jennie asked.
“Yes” Rosie answered, her eyes are still shut.
"Let's get some Taiyaki Ice cream?" Jennie asked.
"Nœr~" Rosie whined and Jennie laughed out loud. She just wanted to tease Rosie. Taiyaki Ice Cream is a fished shaped cone and an ice cream on top. Rosie would probably won't eat fish for a while.
"I was just teasing you love" Jennie chuckled.
"You're so mean" Rosie sniffed remembering Ariel again.
“Alright, alright. Let’s ask the others, I think Jisoo and Joy need ice cream also” Jennie said as she remembered the couples in the living room.
“Huh? Why?” Rosie cutely asked, trying to open her puffy eyes wide.
“They are watching some drama outside” Jennie answered then giggled that made Rosie let out a chuckle too.
They both went outside after Rosie make a final glance on the empty fish bowl.
“Bye Ariel”

I am sorry for just flushing the goldfish in the toilet (｡ŏ﹏ŏ)
A few stuff has been rotting in my drafts, most are based on something I read somewhere in the past. So if it's familiar then maybe we are on the same side of Tumblr or aff lol. Can't remember my sources that well.
