Inside the washroom...
Chaeyoung put her bag on the counter top, faced the mirror and fixed her hair. Jennie followed and closed the washroom door.
"So, I'm JENNIE now?" Jennie asked immediately after entering the washroom.
Chaeyoung didn't even spare a glance at Jennie. She just keeps fixing her hair and straightening her clothes. And it did some messing on Jennie's lovesick brain.
"Oh? So, INVISIBLE JENNIE?" Jennie frustratingly asked amidst of being attacked by this fluttering feeling caused by Chaeyoung.
"You sound like a mad girlfriend. It wasn't like I called you names. JENNIE is your name. What am I supposed to call you?" Chaeyoung said.
Jennie's mind went on whipped mode when she heard the word 'girlfriend' coming out from Chaeyoung's mouth. She almost squealed but remembered that this chipmunk in front of her is still mad.
And mad Chaeyoung is hot Chaeyoung.
'damn it, Jennie Kim! You're not suppose to find her hot, she's a baby!' That's her inner self scolding her.
'your baby' her naughty self said.
She understands why Chaeyoung is mad but she won't admit it. As the older one between them, she needs to be level headed and handle the argument maturely. However, Jennie Kim is a total lovesick girl and when Chaeyoung is around she doesn't know how to act mature. She always end up starting a petty fight with her.
And worse end up saying stupid things.
"And you sound like a... Like a-" Jennie can't say it she'll just end up looking so stupid.
She's thinking of calling Chae a 'jealous girlfriend' but she knows that she'll just cringe and end up making it real.
"Like a what?" Chaeyoung taunted her to continue.
The girl is really mad. Jennie sighed softly and liok at Chaeyoung.
"I don't understand why I need to tell you everything" Jennie said.
Chaeyoung's hand stopped midway above her head. She slowly put her hand down that was about to fix her hair.
"Then don't expect me to tell everything to you too" Chaeyoung said.
There was anger and sadness mixed with her cold voice. That was the first time Jennie heard it.
Chaeyoung walked passed Jennie and out she went from the washroom. Jennie stayed a bit inside and regretted everything she said. She could've just told Chaeyoung that she's sorry. And that yes, she'll be living in the dorms but will try to call and text everyday and come home on the weekends if she's not busy.
what's so hard about that?
It sounds like they are in a relationship but no, they are just two childhood best friends who secretly has undeniable feelings for each other.

The oldies plus Jisoo and Alice are still chatting while eating like normal people. They saw Chaeyoung went out of the washroom and walked near to their table, she grabbed the two gift bags and managed to make an excuse so she could go early.
"I forgot I have a paper to work on. If you'll excuse me" Chaeyoung said and left.
The oldies looks at each other then to Jisoo and Alice.
