PAIGE'S POV

I was talking to Tyler in his room when Zoe knocked on the door.

"Hey, what's up?" Tyler asked.

"Alfie has agreed to take the other spare room so you could stay in my room with me, if you like," Zoe said.

"I'd love to," I replied. "But how about Troye? Where will he sleep?"

"On the couch downstairs," Zoe answered. "He already made a fort for himself downstairs,"

"Awww, Tyler was looking forward to sleeping with him," I teased with a grin on my face.

Suddenly Tyler's cheeks turned red. He grabbed a pillow and then slapped me. "No I wasn't!"

After a few more chatters, Zoe and I went to what was supposed to be her and Alfie's room since it was made for two people.

Yeah I know. I'm kind of getting in the way of Zalfie sleeping in the same room, but I can't deny myself a bed! I don't want to sleep on a couch like Troye when I'm offered the chance to sleep on a comfy bed.

"Here it is," Zoe said, guiding me inside. Coincidentally, it was the room beside Joe's room, but what do I care. (Really, Paige? Really?)

We entered the room. It was just enough for the two of us. It was very neat -as expected from Zoe.

"Which bed do you want? The one near the window or the one near the room?" Zoe asked.

"I'd take any bed right now," I said. "I'm exhausted."

It was 12 midnight and I had just come from intense migraine and vomiting. My whole body felt like giving up on itself.

I jumped on the bed, feeling the soft covers and the soft pillow. Zoe sat on her bed beside mine, staring at me with a smile.

"What?" I asked, weirded out.

"You know, Joe likes you," She said.

"Ha. Ha ha, Zoe. Nice try," I said, amused.

It was only my second day with Joe, and I think 2 days is BARELY enough time to decide if you like someone.

"We've known each other for two days, Zoe," I countered. "Two days."

"No. You've known each other for years now," She said. "You met two days ago,"

"Yeah," I agreed. "And two days isn't enough for you to decide if you like someone."

"Well," She started. "Ever since I met Alfie I liked him,"

"Well that's di-"

I was interrupted with a sudden knock on the door. Zoe quickly stood up from her bed and opened the door to reveal Joe, in his boxers and a plain black shirt, fidgeting.

"Oh would you look at that, it's Joseph!!" Zoe exclaimed, looking at me then looking back at Joe. "What do you want?"

He chuckled, "I just came in to check if errrmm- if Paige was alright," He said. "I mean-you know-maybe she still has a migraine,"

"Nah, I'm fine," I waved and said with a smile. "Dying to get sleep though,"

"Well then, I should be off now," He said, his head hanging a bit low. "You two probably need your beaaauutyy sleep,"

"Yeah we do. Go ahead now, shoo! Shoo!" Zoe told her brother, slapping his butt as he turned around to go to his room.

Zoe closed the door shut, locked it, walked towards me with a cheeky grin, and said, "What did I tell ya?"

"That meant nothing," I said, my argument now getting weaker and weaker.

Zoe rolled her eyes at me while getting into bed, "Whatever you say, Bradley. Whatever you say."

"Good night Sugg," I greeted.

"Good night Bradley," She greeted back although I had no intent of sleeping. Even though my body was tired, I couldn't help but overthink about what Zoe had said. I couldn't help but ask myself if I liked Joe too.

In the end, sleepiness overpowered my thoughts and I haven't finished finalizing my thoughts about Joe.
