" do you have like a charm on me" Leon asked jokingly
" and why do I always lose it in your hands " Valerie asked as well, Leon giggled a bit .
" you should clean those gets though ,before someone finds you " he said
" you really look ugly when you cry , we don't want anyone know that yet " Leon said , Valerie laughed a bit drying her face .
Leon stood up trying to observe the room but instead froze when his eyes landed on Andrew . Leon turned back to Valerie his face still in shock
" has he been there the whole time " he asked
" yes " Andrew replied
" then make some noise " Leon turned to him
" I didn't want to interrupt the moment " Andrew said , at some point he wanted to laugh , Leon was feeling embarrassed at the fact that Andrew has witnessed his break down moment .
" have you two ever concerned being friends cause for sure you have a lot in common " Valerie asked them ,Leon laughed loudly while Andrew smiled
" no thank you , I shall pass" Leon said .
" don't mind me , continue like am not here " Andrew said turning back to his work
" I am suggesting you move out " Leon said , Andrew remained silent doing his work
" Andrew " Leon called
" keep it down Mr Collins , My wife and his childhood friend are trying to have their moment " Andrew said quietly , though his eyes were still down on his screen . Valerie smiled , Leon shock his head turning back to Valerie , he sat back on the bed
" that bed was not meant for two " Andrew loudly said pushing a chair forward with his leg .
Leon turned looking at Andrew with a smile
" the dead don't talk , so keep it down your wife and her lover are trying to talk " Leon said to Andrew .
" I am worried about bed and the carrying capacity " Andrew said , Leon and Valerie looked at each other.
" when I tell you he is very jealous " Leon whispered . She smiled deep down she knows that Andrew is just worried about the public seeing them that close , she knows and believes that he is just protective not jealous ,maybe Leon does not just know how to put the term protective with Andrew .
He stood up pulling the chair to wards Valerie's bed ,much as Andrew didn't want Leon seated so close to Valerie , he still put his chair close enough with a huge smile .
Andrew had nothing to do about Leon's stubbornness but just flow with it .
Much us what Leon and Valerie can talk about or joke about may seam as childish talk , Andrew was secured by the fact that Leon cares about her health and well being , or that she is happy not sad he is quite sure that Leon can protect her maybe better than he can .
Later that day , Valerie was so done with her visitors , she laid back resting peaceful , Andrew eyes were laid down at her , carefully he raised his hand feeling his lips , his lips pulled up into a sleep
" Valerie , what's that supposed to mean " He quietly asked
He couldn't stop feeling his lips , he closed his eyes his thoughts back to the night as he laid next her , much as
it was late in the night he was not asleep , he couldn't sleep it just failed and that's when he felt her soft fingers touching his face , softly to her lips ,
" Fuck!!!!!!!" Andrew snapped from his thoughts at once , his getting so consumed in his thoughts
" jeez ..." He said again breathing out heavily .
Dr Lee came into the room to check on her again
" how is she " Andrew asked
" her recovery is a bit slow but with good healthy feeding ,enough sleep it will change " Dr Lee said .
" we shall work on that " Andrew said committing to his words
" please do , much as she seams strong ,I am sure she is scared and doesn't know how to help herself she will greatly need your support and help as her husband " Dr Lee said
" she has mentioned earlier that she is tired of just lying in bed " Andrew said
" I will discharge her today at around 7pm only of your willing to follow the prescription ,diet and what is supposed to be done " Dr Lee said
Andrew kept quiet for a while feeling the heaviness and responsibility that comes with this .
" I will do whatever is necessary " Andrew said
" come with me " Dr Lee said then moving out . Andrew quietly followed him to his office .
He was now in this into this all in , to his side even feeling guilty that he caused all this into her life ,so now he is feels so responsible to make things right.
Like promised , by the time Valerie woke up, she was off the drips just casts on the neck and hand , even the one of the leg was removed .
Miss Ann and Jordy were around packing all her items and gifts .
"Put this in the first car , with the maids , tell them to organise the house and the bedrooms to the fullest " Miss Ann ordered Jordy .
" I already told them to clean the house, bedrooms and even change the sheets on the beds , its just taking these home " Jordy said.
Valerie so confused about what was happening
" what's happening " she asked miss Ann
" we are packing. You have been discharged " Miss Ann said
" this fast , just like that " she asked
" did you not want to be discharged " Miss Ann asked , Valerie smiled shacking her head saying no
" well I had asked Dr Lee earlier but was not willing too " she said
" Andrew , he made it happen " Miss Ann said .
" come on , I help you out " miss Ann said .
" miss Ann, I am not lame" Valerie said with a smile
" well , Andrew told me that leg of yours is not so fine so I am supposed to help you out as we wait for him in the car " Miss Ann said .
Valerie looked at miss Ann
" let him not scare you " Valerie smiled , as she stood up from the bed , the door was opened Andrew coming through.
" why are you so stubborn" Andrew asked walking towards Valerie .
" I can do it " Valerie said standing up . Andrew moved more close to Valerie even more , she stood steel looking at him, then to his lips . she immediately turned her eyes away looking away
" shall I do it myself " Andrew asked , his voice deep .
" what are you going to help me with " Valerie asked
" to walk you to the bathroom ( he moved one more step towards her ) to help you out of the hospital gown ( he made another step to her , now extremely close ) " Andrew softly said .
Miss Ann looked at them wondering what to do exactly. Valerie swallowed hard
"To help you dress so we can go home " Andrew finished his statement , his eyes looking straight into hers, his calmness was even more disturbing to Valerie cause this was wild as fuck .
She made a step behind slowly sitting back to the bed , she cleared her throat softly
" Miss Ann , please help me out here " Valerie calmly said .
Miss Ann looked at Mr Smith confused , even though she wanted to help , Andrew was standing just before Valerie ,so close that miss Ann had no way of starting to help her.
" Take the bags to the car , me and Valerie shall be there in few " Andrew ordered miss Ann .
" Andrew... " Valerie called there was worry in her voice , maybe a little scared too , her heart was beating fast and hard
" close the door as you go out " Andrew said to miss Ann
Valerie quickly glanced at Andrew, there was a bit of not comfort with Valerie even her face .
Andrew bent down passing his hands below her thighs
" Andre...w..." Her voice was pitched as she called .
He held her firmly around the back
" Andrew!!!!! " she breathed out heavily , her hand on his neck holding him tightly as he carried her up .
Quietly and serious , he walked towards to the bathroom with her in his hands. Andrew lowered her down to the sink ,him standing in between her legs , her breath was fast a bit than usual . His hands were firm around her waist
" Andrew , your too close , I can't take it " Valerie breathed out almost like a whisper .
" if Leon can , why can't I yet am your husband " Andrew whispered as well
He moved his left hand gently in her back pulling the strings of the gown to untie .
