                 " its not that he is special ,  its the fact that it was not the first time " Valerie said to Andrew , 
                 " how many times have they been " unsurely if the question fits he still asked
                 " do i have to answer that " she asked
                 " for my own piece of mind please do " Andrew asked
                 "this makes it the second time " she said
                  " the number of times don't matter ,  its the reaction and how one acts after the first time " Valerie said
They all kept quiet absorbing her words .
                 " am sorry about Mel" Andrew said again breaking the silence .
Everyone in the car was shocked ,  their jaws dropping so law ,  this was so new in their ears ,  apology has never been in Andrew's vocabulary
                 " thanks " she said sadly
                 " she loved being so strong even when she was vulnerable ,  up to the end still " Valerie added with a small smile on her face
                 " After your off the casts ,  i will arrange a trip to Brazil so you can visit her" Andrew said .
Valerie in shock turned looking at him
This was not Andrew at all
                 " this is me trying Valerie " he said on realising the shock on her face . Valerie smiled at him and he returned the smile ,  Jordy and Miss Ann smiled at each other ,  Emma and Ray couldn't help smiling too
This was a miracle for these two to be in such a state
                 " then come a long " Valerie said
                 " my work schedule is too full to go with you" he said
                 " if your trying ,  try harder am sure she would like to see the gentleman i am married to officially " Valerie said . Andrew smiled a bit
                 " she will rest assured that our last fight was worthless " she added
                 " was the fight about me " he asked
                " about our marriage " Valerie said .
                 " i am trying to prove to her that you were worth it at the end of it all " she added
Andrew looked at her with a smile ,  it was kind of nice ,  actually beautiful to know that Valerie doesn't fully regret get married to him .
                " i thought you hated and regretted this " Andrew said
She looked at him
                " at first i did ,  but with time it has become my life , all i know " she said
                " i hated a few things about it though but if we are to roll like if then its really nice to be married to a friend " Valerie smiled . Andrew looked at her smiling ,  those words calmed him a bit , now all he wants is to work hard to erase the bad memories , scars and misery by patching them with new beautiful ones .
The look Miss Ann and Jordy were giving themselves was the proud one ,  so happy about the great work done between these two .

                  " i know i should have discussed it with you but its already done" Andrew said to Valerie
                  "what exactly" she asked
                  " i postponed all your work for a whole month " Andrew said
                 " i am not complaining but don't you think a whole month is too much " she said
                 " what am i supposed to be doing the whole month "she asked
                 " recovering " Andrew bluntly said .
She was quiet agreeing to him , she had lost before he even said it to her .

               Not long they were already home , Miss Ann leading the way to inside the house ,  Valerie and the husband following then Jordy 
Emma and Ray continued with their way .
On reaching inside , Miss Ann went to the kitchen while Valerie ,  Andrew and Jordy continued upstairs
              " don't strain or hesitate when you need something " Andrew said as Valerie entered her room
              " thank you " she said
              " dinner will be served in a few " Jordy added
              " i will be there " Valerie said
              " Valerie ...." Andrew called as she entered ,  she turned looking back at him
               " i think should help you with your bath " Andrew said
Valerie looked at him then at Jordy who was smiling
               " no ,  i will help her " Jordy said .Valerie giggled looking at him ,  with a cold look Andrew stared at him
               " don't you have other things to do " Andrew asked Jordy
                " yes ,  i will be on my way " Jordy smiled going away .
                " i will use this other hand , to run the bath " she said
                " and to undress " he asked
                " i will her with that " miss Ann said from behind Andrew
                " gladly please " Valerie said
                " are you trying to avoid me after what happened today " he asked
Valerie looked at Andrew ,  how bold and blunt he was saying his words
                " i am not avoiding you , just taking caution " she smiled then turned going inside .
Miss Ann followed her closing the door behind her . Andrew continued his way to his room , Jordy was already there preparing his bath and night gown.
                 " are you proud " Andrew asked as he removed his shirt
                 " of what Andrew " Jordy asked
                 " your set up of me and Valerie " he asked , Jordy cleared his throat with a smile
                 " thank you" Andrew smiled
Jordy smiled looking at him , Andrew had something different with him
                " do you love her that much "
Jordy asked
                " is it that obvious " he asked then walked into his bathroom
Jordy laughed not understanding Andrew at all . he waited patiently till he came out of the bathroom
               
                " please make she never eats alone " Andrew ordered Jordy
                " sure " Jordy replied .
In no time ,  they were out at the dinning table , Miss Ann and Valerie were still not yet down , but the maids were preparing the table .
               " be careful " Miss Ann said to Valerie as they came down stairs .
               " am starving " she smiled at Miss Ann
               " its your favourite." Jordy said .She sat down at the table her eyes on Andrew , this was new in this house , they have never sat on the this dining table together .
               " are you eating with us " She asked Andrew
               " yes " he agreed removing her tablets from his night gown pocket placing them before her . Miss Ann sat after collecting her a glass of water to swallow the medicine

               " you don't have to monitor me on swallowing " she said
               " lets not argue about that , or even make it a matter to be discussed" Andrew said .
The food was served but mostly nutritious foods , there was some conversation while they ate but Valerie couldn't keep up
She immediately become sleepy and week
                  " are you okay " Andrew asked
                  " i am just sleepy and tired " she said
                  " thank you for the food " she standing up . Jordy stood up as well .
                  " please allow me take you to bed " he asked Valerie .she smiled leading the way .Jordy followed hurriedly . Andrew looked at Jordy closely watching him he seamed not so happy about the fact he was escorting her to bed .

                    " thank you " Andrew said to Miss Ann who was standing up to clear the table
                    " for what Andrew " she asked
                    " you that stupid plan that turned out to be great " he said .
Miss Ann smiled at him .
She moved close to him gently embracing him tightly
                    " i will always do whats best for you , i will always have your back " Miss Ann said.
                   " thank you so much " he said hugging her back .
Miss Ann looked at Andrew like his own son , he had grown in her hands even when he married he still moved with him , now doing whats best for his marriage .
                  " good night " he said after their embrace .
                  " its going to rain heavily tonight please take another blanket for Valerie , she is normally affected by cold nights " Miss Ann said .
                 " i will keep that in mind" he said then moved upstairs
                  " good night Andrew " she replied back .
As soon as Andrew reached his room it began raining , he sat on his desk looking through his work documents , much as he tried to focus , he failed , he stood up closing his laptop then walked out of the room . he reached Valerie's door room opening it slowly.
She was half covered , coiled in the bed , in very deep sleep .
Andrew closed the door behind him gently , walking to her head . He looked at her quietly , he slid into bed lying next to her , he covered her properly as careful as possible making sure he doesn't wake her up .
He lowered his head slowly kissing her gently on the head . He as well laid down close to her .

                  What is better than cuddling someone on such a heavy cold night ,  Andrew knew what to do . he laid close to her in the back , both so well covered .
