(Third-person POV)

Peter walked around outside, looking for the perfect spot.

Meanwhile, Evelyn was just finishing lunch with the Avengers. They ended up getting Shawarma, due to Tony's deep admiration for it.

"So how come Spider-boy isn't here?" Natasha said quietly to Evelyn.

"I don't know, I guess he thought it would be weird you know? I mean, he's never really met any of us before the other day"

"I guess you're right"

"What are you two whispering about over there?" Steve asked. He never liked being left out of things.

"Nothing, it's not important." Evelyn checked her watch. "You guys should get going, your flight's leaving soon."

"You're right, we should be going" They all got up from their chairs, gave Evelyn a hug and said their goodbyes.

"We're seeing you on Sunday, right?"

"I'll be flying back on Sunday, but you probably won't see me until Monday"

"Alright, well, we'll miss you kid" Natasha said, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I'll miss you guys too"

After saying goodbye one too many times, Evelyn got into the car with Happy and he took her back to the hotel.

When she walked in she was surprised to see it was empty.

"Peter?" She called out. No answer. "Huh, I wonder where he went." She sat down on the bed and watched TV until he got back.

Peter was still walking around, trying to find the perfect spot for their surprise picnic. He walked a little longer until he found the perfect spot. On top of a roof of a large building. The top of the building looked out onto a large lake and hills in the distance. It was beautiful, and it probably looked even more beautiful when the sun was setting/ rising. He took a photo of the building and of the street, in case he forgot, then walked back to the hotel.

"Oh, hey I didn't know you were back yet"

"Yeah, I came back early"

"How was it?" He asked, taking off his shoes and coat.

"It was fun, we went and got Shawarma"

"Was it any good?"

"It was alright, not as good as Tony described though."

"Yeah, he seems to really like that stuff. What are you watching?"

"Inception"

"Oh, is that the one with Leonardo DiCaprio?" Peter was trying to keep the conversation off of him and where he was for as long as possible.

"That's the one." She said quickly. "Where were you?"

Damn it. He thought. "Nowhere, just walking around. Thought I'd enjoy the scenery and all"

"Uh-huh"

"What? It's true!"

"Oh no, I believe you" She didn't. She suspected that something was up, but luckily for Peter, she didn't know exactly what he was planning.

"You don't sound like you do"

"Well I do, I believe that you'd never lie to me, under any circumstance. Ever."

"Okay..." He sat down next to her. "What do you want to do tomorrow?"

"I don't know, do you have any ideas?"

"Yeah I have a few" he said looking over at her and smiling.

"What?"

"It's a surprise"

"No! Tell me!"

"If I did then it wouldn't be a surprise!"

"I don't mind"

"Nope, not telling you."

"Damn it" She said under her breath. "Okay, just tell me when we're going"

"You have a choice, we could either wake up stupidly early and go then, or, we could go at night time."

"I don't think I can wait much longer so let's wake up stupidly early"

"Okay"
