--------------------

I flattened out my skirt and I took my notepad and pencil out of my bag, before knocking on the door to the Wright Anything Agency. It was soon opened by the young girl I had been hoping to see, "Hi, what can we do for you?"

"I-I'm sorry for disturbing you on Christmas Day, especially when I know that you'll be having a lot of fun, but I really need to interview you. I know it's Christmas Day, but I promise I won't take too much of your time. It's just my boss told me I'd be fired if I didn't get this interview by the end of the week."

She smiled at me, "Of course! I'd happily give you an interview! Come in!" I returned her smile and she let me inside, closing the door after I'd come in.

"Daddy, we have someone else joining us!" I was slightly shocked and I started moving my hands in from of my face, "Nonononononono, I'm not here to impose, I was just here to interview Trucy!"

"It's okay, the more the merrier. Plus you look like you need a break anyway. What's your name?"

"I'm (Y/n). It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr Wright. I'm a huge fan!"

"Thanks."

------------------------

"T-thank you so much for inviting me to stay for the day, but I should r-really be going. I-I have to find an interviewee before the end of the week, or I'll be fired. Again, thank you," I spoke, standing up and going to the door. However, before I could get out I felt a hand grab my wrist, "(Y/n) wait. H-here." I turned around, only for Trucy to place a piece of paper in my hand. She smiled at me, "Don't look at it until you gey home." I nodded, "O-okay. She let me hand go and leaned into my ear, "Merry Christmas." I gave her a hug before walking out the agency and back home.

When I got home I immediately dashed upstairs, ignoring my mum's call for me asking where I was. I flopped onto my bed and pulled out the piece of paper that Trucy had given me. "07 452 625 462 today was fun, let me know if you want to be a member of the agency, ps you're cute -Trucy" I felt myself smiling and my face go red before I pulled my phone out, adding Trucy to my contacts. I took a deep breath and sent her a text, "I'd love to. Meet me down at (F/c) 27th, and we can talk interviewing there?"

------------------------

"So... b-back to this interview. What-"

"(Y/n), I know you didn't ask my here to interview me. You were asking me out on a date, weren't you?"

I felt my face flush red, No... Maybe..... Yes.

"And don't try to lie, I'll know."

I inwardly groaned and brought my notepad up to my face to hide my blush, "Maybe... I did... Maybe I didn't. You can't prove whether I did or not."

She smirked, "Oh really? I think I can. I know how to get my answer," she replied before leaning over the table and grabbing the collar of my top and pulling me into her kissing me. I was shocked at this but before I could reply, she'd let me go. My face was bright red and her face had a massive smirk on it, "Welp, I have my answer."

"Okay fine, I fell in love with you after one day of knowing you. Is that what you wanted?" I asked, a pout on my face and it also red.

"Yes. You know, (Y/n), this has changed, hasn't it? You were supposed to be the one interviewing me."

"Y-yeah, but as you got out of me, I didn't really ask you here for an interview."

"I'd still have said yes if you'd been honest with me from the start. I love you too, (Y/n)." I smiled and leaned across the table, kissing her again.

"You know, I thought I'd be single forever."

"Well, you could call this a 'Christmas Miracle', I guess, couldn't you, (Y/n)?"

I smiled, "Well, I would, but what really is a Christmas Miracle is that my boss quit and was replaced. So I'm not going to be fired for not getting that interview."

"That's great!"

"Yeah, I love being a reporter. I know I'm a rookie, but it's fun."
