"(Y/n), Sweetie, we need to go."

I nodded sadly, turning to him from the small little cat plushies I was admiring, while Daddy and Papa had been doing some other shopping, "Okie, Daddy." He smiled down at me and picked me up, continuing to walk down the pavement. I noticed Papa lean in and whisper something in Daddy's ear before turning back and walking back in the direction we'd just come from. I tugged on Daddy's sleeve, "Where's Papa going?"

"Your Aunt Franziska needs to talk to him about something. Don't worry, he'll be back soon."

I smiled and nodded, "Okay, Daddy." I leaned my head on his shoulder and soon fell asleep, it was a few hours after my nap time and I needed a sleep.

-----------------CHRISTMAS DAY

"Aww, all the presents are gone now. Now what do we do?"

"Actually, (Y/n), there's one more." I turned to Papa, a confused look on my face, "Huh? B-but, there's no more under the tree."

"That's because it's here," he replied pulling out a small box from his pocket, "Come here." I walked over and he handed me the box, "Unwrap it." I looked at the box before looking back at him. Papa nodded and I smiled, looking back to the box and unwrapping it. Inside was the cat plushie I'd been admiring the most. I smiled and hugged him, "Thank you, Papa!"

"You're welcome, (Y/n). I just don't like seeing you sad and I could tell you were admiring that cat so, I decided that the one thing I knew would make your Christmas was to see you happy."
