"he deserved it, right?" JJ asked tossing the fishing line, Caroline stood beside him with her arm around his resting her head on his shoulder.
"are you joking? of course he deserved it." Kiara said.
"never seen anyone blow themselves up like that." Pope said standing on the pathway to the docks.
"cross that one off the bucket list." JJ casually said.
"JJ!" Caroline lifted her head shaking it.
he looked at her then back at the water, she rubbed her forehead moving her arm away pacing quietly.
"sucks for Sarah." he added.
"i feel bad for her. just hearing the way she screamed and just broke down it hurt seeing her like that." Caroline crossed her arms leaning against the pillar.
"are you okay?" Kiara asks sitting besides John B who was laying on the HMS staring into the water, resting her hand on his back.
"it's not me i'm worried about." he muttered.

"hey sweetheart, it's mom. well you probably know from the contact but uh, i just wanted to check in. i know you don't want to talk to me because of what happened and i'm so sorry i shouldn't have kicked you out," Caroline listened to her mom's voicemail sitting out in the shed of the Château.
"you're a Pogue baby. i know how much you love and care for your friends, Shoupe passed by yesterday telling us the news about Ward and i'm so sorry i didn't believe you, you were right. i know you don't want to come home after everything but you can come back whenever you're ready, i'm sorry baby, i love you."
Caroline locked her phone turning to JJ who sat quietly beside her listening to the voicemail, he leaned back into the couch rubbing her back.
"what are you gonna do?" he asked, Caroline sighed leaning back looking towards up at the stars in the sky.
"i don't know." she breathed out.
"whatever you're ready for i'll be there with you." he moved his hand to her hair running his fingers through it.
"i know." she smiled turning her head to him.
JJ sat up smiling leaning in kissing her, Caroline giggled kissing him back when she heard a gasp coming from behind them.
"Ace, you're cheating on me?" Kiara asked wiping away a fake tear.
"never!" Caroline jumped over the couch rushing towards Kiara wrapping her arms around her.
"Kie! you just stole my girlfriend." JJ groaned standing up walking to the two girls who were hugging each other.
"sorry, not sorry." Kiara smiled placing a kiss on Caroline's cheek.
