Peterkin started to cough as John B ran over to her quickly putting pressure on her wound to stop the bleeding, he took the bandana off his neck putting it on her wound. Ace held Sarah tightly as the two cried terrified of what Rafe had just done, she looked at Rafe seeing his eyes soften when he looked at her.
"call for help." Peterkin wheezed, Ace kneeled down next to John B grabbing the radio turning it in.
"hey!" Rafe yelled.
"Rafe, no! Rafe!" Ward yelled.
"don't try it, bitch." Rafe told the girl aiming the gun at her.
she handed the radio to John B standing up slowly putting her hands up.
"Rafe, put the gun down, please. listen to me." she started to say calmly.
"Rafe- John B, give me the radio." Ward said lowering his sons hand down. "Caroline, please calm him down"
"no." Ace said when Rafe aimed the gun at John B.
Ward grabbed the radio from Ace and John B, while Rafe was still aiming the gun at them, Ward quickly went back to his son as he saw the two teens get up quickly looking back at them.
"Rafe, i've got it. calm down." Ward told his son walking over to him.
Ace stepped away slowly going back to John B kneeling down next to him looking at Peterkin holding her hand telling her she's gonna be okay.
"run." she told the two,
"i'm not leaving you." John B told her.
"Peterkin, we can't." Ace whispered.
John B and Ace looked back at ward talking to his son then looking back at Peterkin.
"run!" she repeated.
"i'm sorry." John B cried.
the two stood up walking in different directions, Ace gave him a nod starting to back away as he did the same thing when Rafe caught them. Sarah told the two to run as they did running as fast as they could, Ace ran until her legs gave up looking all over for her friends. she was covered in scratches by the trees and bushes that she ran into, she stopped walking seeing the airplane take off.
"no." she whimpered feeling more tears stream down her face.
she heard yelling and banging following the noise carefully seeing JJ, Pope and Kiara. Pope was swinging a baseball bat around breaking things and yelling, she watched JJ give him his juul which Pope took. Ace looked over behind her seeing John B hugging him tightly as the two cried silently in each other's arms.
"i lost my scholarship. walked out in the middle of the interview. every- it's gone. it's not gonna happen." Pope explained.
