Chapter 34- Endymion isn't a bad person!

All the maids were eating as usual.

It is time to eat.

"So where did you go last night?"asked Lilly.

They noticed me when I left?

"Oh...I was super curious about what is going between young master and miss Lisa so I decided to follow them..."

They gasped.

"Woahh! So what did you discover Rose!?"said one maid excited.

I should be careful  with what I say or else I will get into huge trouble.

I smiled.

"Well...They were just chatting about business so...I don't think that something is going on between them."I said and took a sip of the water that was next to me.

Endymion wouldn't stay calm if I revealed what they were really doing...

The seem disappointed.

"Aw! What a pity! They would suit each other so much!"

That is true and Endymion wants to go closer to Lisa but she is totally clueless and blinded by her love for Cain.

"But I did notice something weird..."I added.

Maybe now that I got their attention I can improve Endymion's image.

"What is it Rose?!"said another maid.

"Young master isn't as cold and bad as the rumours say."I said and took another sip.

Then everyone except Alex suddenly seemed so shocked and got up from their seats.

"W-what?!"they said at the same time.

"What did you just say Rose?"said Lilly with a concerned expression.

They have totally misunderstood him, haven't they?

What should I do?

"Well young master Endymion himself got worried about my dark circles earlier! He got curious and even asked me why I got them etc etc!"I said with enthusiasm.

They froze.

*Bang*

"Huh?"

What happened?

Alex suddenly stood up and looked at me with a glare.

"I don't believe that you actually experienced that.Young master isn't like that...I will never believe you!"she said with anger.

What has gotten into her?

I don't understand?

The book doesn't say anything about her background so I don't know why she got so upset.

"Why are you so upset?"I asked.

Everyone is watching us.

" His father is a monster- So he must be one as well! There is no way- He is so cold and distant and rude! How do you expect me to believe a newcomer?!"she said.

She is starting to get on my nerves but she does have a point.

Maids here have experienced the worst with that monster... Endymion's father.

But...I can't let her talk shit about Endymion!

"Don't judge a book by its cover Alex.I don't know what you guys have been through but I don't have any reason to lie.I know it may seem unbelievable but please believe in me."

She got up and slapped me in anger.

What?

I touched my cheek not believing what just happened.

After she realized what she had done, she left without saying a word.

After that everyone pretended like nothing happened and I couldn't say anything more.

I stayed silent but my head was a mess.

After that incident Alex would avoid me and refused to get close to me.

This is getting on my nerves.

If you want it to be that way so be it!

I have more important issues to worry about.

I came here to help Endymion , not to fight with people.

I will avoid her and at the end she will leave me alone.

I am not staying in this world forever.

I am pretty sure once Endymion and Lisa get a happy ending my mission would be finished and I will return back home.

There isn't a reason for me to stay here anymore right?

I  am walking through the halls but I paused when I heard loud voices.

Is someone shouting?

I knocked on the door where the noise came from.

"Come in"

Is that Endymion's father?

Maybe I shouldn't have knocked damn it...

But now I have no choice...

I signed and opened the door.

"I am sorry for the interrupting master."

He is sitting on his desk and his legs are on the table.

Have you ever heard of manners? Huh?

"What do you want maid?"

Nobody is here so why is he yelling?

Has he gone crazy and talk to himself now?

"Nothing master.I just heard a noise and I thought there was trouble."I said and bowed.

He laughed.

"What an interesting one you are. Everyone knows where my room is.If I need help I will call"he said between his laughing.

Is he humiliating me?

I try my best to remain calm.

One word and it may become my last.

"I am so sorry master.I will take my leave-"I said and turned to leave.

He got up from his seat.

"Who said you can go? Huh?"

Oh no...

"Get on your knees maid."

I obeyed and kneeled.

"Yes master?"

*Slaps*

"Ah-"

He slapped me.

This is the second time today.

It was on the opposite cheek that Alex hit me.

"This will be the final warning.Do not disturb my work if I don't call you maid."

Is this how servants are treated here and worse?

I got up and bowed.

"Yes master..."

My cheeks they hurt...

"Now go."he said and went back to his seat.

I got out of the room.

"Ugh-" that man ...

He killed Lisa, abused Endymion and many more.

He almost killed me before.

The scene of that day played like a video in my mind.
