Chapter 44- I like your touch

I wonder if Endymion is going to stay there for the time being.

I hope his father doesn't make a fuss because of this.

I patiently waited for Endymion after I was done with all my work.

"When is he coming back?"I said while gazing at the sunset from his balcony.

"The sunset is beautiful...I wish I could see it from home once more..."

I start to miss my world these days.

"I should stop spacing out.At least I am not alone in this world.I have Lilly,Alex, my parents even though they do not remember me and Endymion."

"Welcome back my lord!"

Is that the butler's voice?

I looked down at the entrance of the house.

"Endymion is back!"I said with excitement.

I can't see his expression but I will wait here.

I get inside the room and patiently waited for his arrival.

Once I hear the door open I ran to greet him.

"Hey my lord! Welcome back!"

He didn't respond and just collapsed on his bed.

"I don't know what I should do anymore..."he said and placed a hand on his face.

Is he okay?

"Did the meeting went the wrong way young master?"

He slowly turned to look at me with emotionless eyes.

"She is hurt...She is hurt and I couldn't do anything but fool around!"he said upset.

I am stunned.

I get closer to his bed and sit next to him.

"My lord that isn't true."I said and smiled at him.

He immediately got up and looked at me with a desperate expression.

"How so?"he said.

"Young master...But you always wanted to take care of Lisa.You tried to help her and protect her from any danger that went in her way.You even-"I stopped.

You even died for her but you still call yourself stupid?

I placed a hand on his head.

"It is alright.You did your best and it was my idea anyways.You should just blame it on me.I will be okay with that."I said.

I will not be okay but it is better if I am sad on his instead.

He grabbed the hand I rested on his head.

This reminds me of when I rescued him from his father's man.

He didn't push my hand away.

"Do you want to tell me young master?"I said and rubbed my hand on his hair.

"I just...I want to help her no matter what the price is...I promised her that I will make her feel better but I am sure she didn't believe me-"

Oh so she must have cried in front of him.

I know it must be difficult for everyone but I don't want neither Lisa nor Endymion to be treated awfully.

"It is alright.She loved Cain as well but he didn't love her back.It is better to have a break heart than to live in a fantasy that you created with someone that doesn't share the same feelings as you ".

I believe that I made the correct decision this time.

Endymion glared at me.

He grabbed me and pushed me away.

"Huh? What's wrong young master?"I said in suprise.

He seems angry.

"Yes! Yes! It is your fault that she is sad right now...You shouldn't have been with me! You should have kept your mouth shut!Now because of your stupid decisions people have to suffer! It is all your fault! How foolish I was to even trust your opinion."he said in anger.

Ah...

It is okay Rose...He is just saying these things to...

I looked down and didn't face him.

"Are those tears falling down your eyes?"he said concerned.

"Eh? When did I-?"

I quickly wipe my tears away and forced myself to face him and smile.

"What are you talking about young master? I didn't cry. It must have been a trick from the light ahah-"

Did I not make the right choice after all?

B-but Cain wasn't treating her right...I only wanted to help-

"Look at me straight in the eyes."Endymion ordered me.

I did as he said and after a few seconds of silence he signed.

"I am sorry... It really isn't your fault... She was rather thankful for your interfere in their relationship. I just tried to blame someone for her and my pain at the moment-I apologize for that."

My lips formed a proud smile.

"It is alright I forgive you!"

Endymion grabbed both of my hands and placed them on his face.

"W-what?"

"Warm..."he replied and rubbed against my palm.He closed his eyes.

Wh-why is he actually so dense and cute all of the sudden?

He sure has a lot of mood swings-

"It is strange but I like your touch"

We stayed like that for a while.

After a while he opened his eyes and looked at me.

"You sure are a lot different from what I thought.I haven't relied on someone my entire life.Not even on Lisa. Please don't consider what I said before. The opposite is what I feel. I am sorry again."

"Oh really?"I said and smiled.

He is being such a crybaby aw!

I can't believe that this man a bit ago wanted to kill me ahaha.....

"I understand.I understand young master..."
