I haven't written anything like this chapter before.  Hope it works well for you and you can picture it all.

If he had more time he would have preferred a simpler scenario, perhaps arranged a meeting somewhere secluded where he could have snatched him quietly with no collateral damage and Virgil would have been one of those missing persons cases where someone disappeared from the face of the earth one day for no rhyme or reason.  However, time was crucial in this case and he needed to complete the assignment as soon as possible and risks had to be taken.

Nico sat in the car. He'd double-checked everything, including the time 2 am. He took a few deep breaths to slow his heart rate and focus on speed and efficiency. He left the car a good distance from the house but not too far he couldn't get to it quickly if he had to. He pulled a balaclava over his face, leaving only his eyes visible. He was wearing a leather jacket and gloves, needing a little more protection than the normal hoodie provided. Everyone put up a fight, even the most unlikely and fragile person. Everybody wanted to live. They surprised you sometimes by how fiercely they fought for those last few moments.

Nothing in the street moved, the houses were in darkness except for the odd porch light. The dim street lamps only lined one side of the street so he walked quickly on the other. He went straight to the fuse box at the side of the house and turned off the main switch and pulled out the cartridge fuses, throwing them over the fence for good measure. Then he opened the screen door, quickly picked the lock, and entered the house. He left the door ajar. Nico knew the layout of the house and made his way silently down the hallway.

At the bottom of the stair, he pulled out a pocket torch and turned it on. From a zipped pocket on the sleeve of his jacket, he took out a stiletto knife. He flicked the button and it sprang open, the long slim blade gleaming. Nico stood still and closed his eyes. He imagined all the rooms upstairs. Ran through the route he would take. Breathing deeply he slowed his heart rate even further and also locked away his emotions. This was his job.

Nico took the first step hesitantly but then moved quickly up the stairs. His feet silently made their way the short distance to the first-floor bedroom door. He turned off the torch and stepped inside. Only the smallest muffled sigh came from the bedroom. He was out in a few minutes and slowly made his way up the stairs.

This is where the situation becomes problematic Nico thinks to himself. He has to be fast. He isn't hiding his scent so Virgil will know exactly what his attacker is capable of. Nico removes a short leather collar from his pocket, it is inlaid with silver coins and will fit around his throat. That done it will be impossible for his wolf to attack, he will only have Virgil's strength to contend with. He slowly opens the door and then almost like a bolt of lightning he pounces on the sleeping man and has the collar around his neck in a flash.

Virgil winded and in utter shock struggles to move and breathe, the collar is very tight and the silver is making his skin tingle like he's been scalded.  Virgil tries to pull off the collar but it burns his fingertips and he pulls his hands away.  Nico is very strong and has his knees against his back holding him down. One arm is pulled back and then the other, held together in a steely grip as handcuffs are placed on them. Virgil is screaming for help, calling out for James.  His throat is hurting so bad, it's hard to breathe and call out.

"What are you doing? Why are you doing this? Take whatever you want. Let me go. James!!! James Help me." His wolf is howling with fury. He wants to eat this...this...it's a Lycan.  It's not a human. At this point, Virgil realises that this can't be a normal home invasion, robbery, whatever. This is a werewolf. Then the thought hits him.
