"I'm here, I'm here! Sorry about being late Hotch, JJ catch me up!"

JJ fills me in on the case as I settle into my seat. I nod along acknowledging her words, I asked my out-of-the-box questions and took in all of the information. As JJ and I finished up my phone buzzed several times. I removed my jacket and took my phone out of my pocket:

Aaron Hotchner-

Where were you? Is everything okay?

Aaron Hotchner-

Were you with Andrew? Did you sleep with him?

Aaron Hotchner-

Wasting this team's time for personal matters is not acceptable.

Aaron Hotchner-

I'm sorry that was- just never mind.

I raise my eyebrows and look up at Aaron, I shake my head disapprovingly, and tuck my phone away. I pull out my laptop and begin doing research of my own.

The plane lands, Hotch breaks the team into their small groups, and I make my way into the SUV. Aaron paired us together, I took the driver's seat and waited for him to get into the car. I couldn't tell if he was insecure, jealous, or both. No matter what, I'll show him some extra attention today. I'd show him who's boss first.

Aaron gets into the car and buckles up, "Well, this is different."

"Mhmm, you want to explain to me what those text messages were about?" I say with an attitude.

His breath hitched, him, he hitched! "I uh- All I have to explain is how sorry I am. It was not right for-"

I took a deep breath, "Aaron, I love you, okay? So, this one time I will drop it... and I was getting the house keys from Andrew. I'm selling the house and I needed to get the paperwork in order. That's why I couldn't make lunch, the sooner I got that done the better."

"Thank you, I really appreciate it, a-and I love you too." He squeezes my hand and kisses my knuckles.

I chuckle, "I know you do or else you wouldn't have sent those text messages."

The team and I finished up with the case and we were all home by Friday night. Aaron walked me to my car and confirmed our plans for breakfast the next morning. I smiled, said goodnight, and we went our separate ways. I drove home and put down my bags, I was so ready for bed. I walked up the stairs, into my bedroom, and took off my dirty clothes from the day. I was putting my hair up when I felt a pair of arms going around my waist.

I screamed, "Who are you? Tell me now before I kick your ass six feet under!"

"Y/n, it's me!" Andrew laughs.

"What the actual fuck Andrew! You scared the shit out of me!" I stomped into the restroom.

"I found an extra key that I had and thought I'd just wait for you. The idea of scaring you didn't come until the last minute. I'm sorry," he laughs harder.

"Fuck you, you pig! Now, you have a plane to catch and I have some Z's to catch." I took off my earrings and makeup.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll see you next month when I pick up Grace. Have a goodnight, Y/n." He smiles and looks at my body.

I roll my eyes, "Have a safe flight and make sure you get food for that apartment of yours."

Andrew smiles and walks out the door. Finally, peace and quiet, that's all I ask for. I took a quick shower and went to bed.

I woke up pretty early so I could get ready for breakfast with Aaron. I put on a white dress that flowed beautifully. I curled my hair and applied some light makeup. I didn't know what Aaron wanted to talk about, but I was excited to be seeing him outside of work. I got into my car and made my way to the cafe Aaron chose.

As I pull into the parking lot I see Aaron sitting at one of the outdoor tables. I walk towards him and give him a quick kiss.

"This is really nice, Aaron."

"I'm glad you like it," he grabbed my hand and led me inside.

We placed our breakfast orders and went back outside, sitting closer to each other.

I put my head on Aaron's shoulder, "Talk to me, love."

"I missed you, well, I missed this," Aaron kissed my forehead.

"Awe, I did too. What did you want to talk about the other day, babe?" I scratched his back.

He sighed, "Nothing now, I just was worried about you and Andrew..."

You brushed his hair back, "I thought that might be the case. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. He isn't my husband anymore and everything in order now. I'm all yours."

"Oh yeah? Do you want to make this official then? Be my girlfriend?" He whispered in my ear.

"Nothing would make me happier," I looked up at him and slowly kissed him.

"I love you, Y/n." He smiled, caressing my cheek.

"I love you too, Aaron." I kissed his hand.

"Y/n!"

Aaron and I looked up towards the road, my mouth just about dropped to the floor. I was staring into Andrew's raging eyes.
