“I can't believe this old man” Evelyn groaned standing next to Peggy who has the same scowl on her face “We are trained professional agents for heaven sake” Peggy spoke
“Colonel Phillips” Peggy greeted as Phillips approached them with a soldier on his side “agents, time of the month?” he teased seeing the looks on their face after he told them that they won't be joining the soldiers for their mission
Evelyn shot him a glare making him chuckle before he started walking away. “You got a problem?” Peggy asked the soldier who stopped in front of them grinning “why dont you both try to find a job that's more suitable for you?” he asked
Evelyn stepped forward curling her hand into a fist and aiming for his nose. Her fist hit the bridge of his nose making him stumble down on the ground by the sudden unexpected move she did. Peggy looked at her shocked before smiling
“how 'bout that?” she asked looking down at him. Philips looked back at them with a proud smirk on his lips “get your ass up out of that dirt” he yelled to the soldier who has a hand pressed into his nose while getting up

“There she is” Bucky mumbled looking at Evelyn who sat at a desk with a file on her hand. Steve turned to his friend confused before following his gaze “Evy!” Bucky called waving at her
She looked up from the file on her hand seeing her best friend stood with a man who's shorter than him. She smiled widely before placing the file down and approaching them
“my best girl” Bucky smiled pulling her into a hug “my stupid friend” she respond chuckling “this is Steve” he introduced him after the both pulled away
Evelyn looked at him with a kind smile "“hey, I'm Evelyn” Steve stood there looking at her dumbfounded while he stare at her green emerald eyes that he simply got lost in “wow” he mumbled making her and Bucky chukle “I know pal” Bucky spoke
“Steve?” she called snapping him out. His cheeks immediately heat up realizing he just stared at her for second “oh I'm sorry, nice to m-meet you” he stuttered rubbing the back of his neck “its okay”
“Your eyes, are they real?” he asked making her laugh “of course” she replied. Bucky turned to steve chuckling by how stunned his bestfriend by her. He couldn't blame him though. Her eyes are also the first thing that he noticed when he met Evelyn. She's also a very different one from any woman he have met
“wanna join us? we're going out tonight” Bucky asked winking at her “you already know my answer” she replied giving him a apologetic smile “evy, stop being boring” he groaned “where you going?” she asked
“Stark expo” he grinned at her “what is that?” she asked making him roll his eyes. “Come with us and you'll see” Bucky smiled seeing her biting her lip while she looks around knowing she thinking “well?” he asked impatiently “no” she smiled
“Agent Lenoir!” Phillips called making her sigh in relief finding a way to escape Bucky “gotta go” she announced kissing his cheek “Evelyn” he groaned “bye Steve, nice meeting you” she smiled at him ignoring Bucky “natalia” he called making her grin “sorry”
Steve has smile on his lips watching her walk away “she got you wrapped around her fingers already doesn't she?” bucky asked. Steve looked back at him with his eyes widen “it's okay pal, I know how it feels, everyone does” Bucky smiled shaking his head.
Evelyn got everyone wrapped around her fingers without even knowing it
Maybe she does, she just doesn't care
