"where you going?" Peggy asked "the old man adjusted the double checking of weapons today" Evelyn explained clearly annoyed "Evy let's goooo" Howard whined like a child earning another glare from Evelyn
Evelyn gave him a small smile standing up close to him making Howard smirk "you don't listen, do you?" Evelyn asked dusting his suit jacket "I'll add that on my vocabulary next time" he respond looking down at her hands back at her with a huge smirk inhaling her scent
Evelyn grabbed the lapel of his suit making him yelp in surprise "its Evelyn to you" she mumbled with his face close to hers and her grip tightening on his lapel "e-evlyn, okay I- I got it" he whispered with his head tilted to the side afraid she will hit him
"good boy" she praised letting him go with a grin. Her words made the genius gulped while butterflies on his stomach goes wild from the praise. Evelyn walked out with Howard stood there speechless you won't want to keep her waiting" Peggy spoke grinning
"Stark!" Evelyn yelled from outside making Howard's eyes widen in panic before running out. Peggy chuckled shaking her head
As minutes later, Howard and Evelyn arrived at Howard's mansion. Evelyn couldn't help but smile in awe "liking what you see?" he asked seeing the smile on her face while she study his mansion
"no" she smiled at him going inside his house without knowing where she's actually going. Howard quickly walked beside her guiding her to his lab
"where's your bathroom?" Evelyn asked "left door down that hallway" he pointed to her right "want me to sho-" "I'm good" she interrupted him walking sway towards the hallway "I'll be on the lab sweetheart" he called "I'm gonna punch you Stark" she yelled
Evelyn came out of the bathroom fixing her uniform, her head shot up hearing a gasp "you must be her!" a woman excitedly spoke making Evelyn look around realizing she was talking to her "who?" she asked
"your the famous Agent Lenoir?" she asked grinning widely "yeah that would be m-" evelyn was interrupted by a chuckle from the woman in front of her "I've heard so much about you!"
"sorry?" she asked clueless what she meant "gosh, Mr Stark has been talking about you for days!" she said making Evelyn press her lips in a thin line not knowing what her response should be
"thanks?" she smiled awkwardly "oh where are my manners, my name is Ana" she introduced herself with her hand out "Evelyn" she smiled shaking Ana's hand
"I'm very pleased to meet you" Ana smiled widely pulling her into a hug making her eyes widen in surprise "oh" she mumbled chuckling "darling, there you are!" Jarvis spoke walking towards them
"Miss lenoir?" he asked earning a small smile from Evelyn while Ana kept hugging her tightly. Jarvis slowly pulled Ana away from Evelyn with a apologetic look on his face "I'm sorry, she's just very..." he trailed off "friendly and huggy" he apologised
"its okay" Evelyn chuckled "I'll go to Stark's lab now" she added "oh I'll show you the way" Jarvis suggested earning a nod and smile from Evelyn "it was nice meeting you Miss Lenoir!" Ana waved making her chuckle
"what did she tell you?" Jarvis asked quietly while he walks beside Evelyn "judging by the look of your face, I think you already know Mr Jarvis" she respond "yeah she can be embarrassing sometimes, but I do love her" he replied
"I'm sorry for oversharing" he apologize "no, I dont mind" she smiled "here you go" Jarvis smiled opening Howard's lab door for her
"took you long enough" he spoke making her roll her eyes. Evelyn walked towards his tables where different types of guns is placed down the table
Evelyn couldn't help but smile impressively but what did she expect she's standing next to America's genius "glad to know I impressed you" Howard spoke smiling genuinely "you did" she respond looking through the guns. Howard watched her with a smile on his face, he knew he's really screwed
Watching a woman with a huge smile on his lips and adoration was never his thing, he doesn't even like having women in his house, he only brings them on his villas. But if its Evelyn he'd even let her stay in his house for as long as she wants
