Everyone was rushing around the SSR doing their own tasked works while Evy simply refill her mug twice now "look at all this rats" she mumbled to herself as she sat down on her desk watching them all run and walk to different directions

"Sasha Demidov's magic typewriter
turned itself on all by itself." Daniel explained to Peggy after she walked in and asked what's going on

"It's encoded. We got a cryptographer
up from Arlington Hall trying to crack it."

"He, uh, stinks at his job." Daniel shook his head as they both entered the briefing room

"It's clearly not a German cipher,
or the Turing Method would work" the cryptographer spoke nervously "What will work, in your estimation?" Dooley asked standing close to his left "huh?" he added. The cryptographer reached for his book but Jack beats him into it and throws it away

"You already looked
through that book ten times." Jack stood close on his right

"I'm gonna have to take this
back with me to Virginia, where I can run..."

"You're not taking it anywhere." Dooley cuts him off

Evy walked in with a mug on her hand making all their head turn to her "wow good morning to you too" Jack stated in a sarcastic manner "shut up" she responds walking towards them

"Look, as difficult as it might
be for you people to understand,
I can't just beat a code into submission
or shoot it with a gun." The cryptographer abruptly stood up looking at Dooley then at Jack "Yeah? That works great with pencil pushers like you." Jack walked towards him making Daniel shook his head while Peggy sighs

"May I see it?" Evy asked placing her mug down and reaching for the paper that's filled with codes. Her lips curled into a small smile knowing the codes too well

"I saw this at Bletchley. It's a one-time pad system." Peggy spoke looking down on the codes "You think I didn't try a pad immediately?" the cryptographer spoked, clearly pissed feeling insulted by all the people on the room "can you read it?" Dooley turned to Evy

"They are map coordinates" she spoke. Peggy grabbed a pen and notepad trying to read the codes as well

"53 degrees, 72 minutes north,

27 degrees, 37 minutes west.

"Purchase confirmed.

"Exchange at 08:00, April 27th." "

Dooley signed to Daniel and he immediately grabbed the book in front of him while Evy kept reading the codes

"That's less than two days from now." Jack spoke "Coordinates are in the
Mar'ina Horka forest in Belarus." Daniel turned to Dooley

"Leviathan... To acquire
prototype... Havoc Reactor." Evy kept reading while Peggy kept taking notes
"I'm sorry. Leviathan?" Jack asked turning to Dooley "As far as I know, it's
an Old Testament sea monster," Daniel turned to Evy doubting that she's reading it correct

"who types, apparently." Dooley added

"No. It's a covert Russian
organization, supposedly."

"I always just assumed
it was a spook story."

"Rumors had it, after the war, their group wanted to purchase
weapons to fight the Allies"

"Well, if they're real
and she's reading that right..."

"She. Is trying to concentrate, thank you" Evy glanced up at Jack to glare at him before looking back down at the codes

"Payment of... $100,000 American... Upon delivery... Payable to..." she stopped making Dooley look down at the paper. She stood back up straight and fixed her skirt "Howard Stark" she continued

Peggy turned to Evy confused on how she managed to break the codes that quick and without writing them first when she's just halfway through the codes "how-"

"Hot damn, we got him. We got Stark red-handed selling weapons to the Russians." Jack clapped making them turn to him. "Take a team to Belarus.
Find Stark, bring him home. Li, Ramirez, gear up. You're going to Russia." Dooley orders pointing at his agents

"Li, Ramirez, Carter, and Lenoir" Peggy spoke "come again?" Dooley turned to her "There's no one more qualified
for this mission, sir. We are going to Russia." Peggy turned to Evy asking for backup but Evy only shook her head and sips her coffee making Peggy's eyebrows raised, surprised that she's taking down such a big opportunity for them

"I'm surprised you're not the one in Peggy's place" Daniel spoke as Peggy and Jack walked passed them arguing with Dooley in front of the two "I'd rather be stuck here than be on a plane for god knows how long"

"You need someone who speaks the language and understands the region." Dooley rolled his eyes, having enough of the two "Ramirez speaks Russian." Jack argued

Evy walked into Dooley's office chuckling seeing the annoyed look on the Chief's face that's caused by the two

Jack glanced at her as she sat down "Carter, Evelyn broke the codes without a pen and a notepad. She did it all by taking a single look into the codes, if I'm being honest, she's the one that should be arguing with me about this, not you" Evy gave him a small smile "why, thank you"

Dooley sighed "I know you've spent time in Russia, but we're putting together a European tac team that knows the terrain."

Peggy turned to him with her head held high "not like I do." Evy nodded her head in agreement. "Not like the 107th regiment." Evy quickly turned to Peggy seeing her already looking at her with a small smile. The mention of the 107th brought back a lot of memories to her

"The Europeans don't even know
Europe as well as the 107th." Jack said with scrunched eyebrows "You think I wouldn't snatch them up if I could?"

Peggy only ignored him and turned back to Dooley "What would you say
if I could deliver them?" she asked with confidence in her tone "I'd say, "Pack your bags," but that's not gonna happen."

Peggy left the room without a word making Jack chuckle "I'm gonna miss her" Evy smiled widely at him knowing he doubts Peggy "oh, I'm sure you won't"

Jack was telling his plans to the Chief when Peggy came back to the office
"The 107th will meet us at the Polish side of the Russian border. That is the plan, isn't it? It is the most obvious one." Peggy eyed Jack while she leans on the door

"gear up. You roll out in an hour" Evy smirked making Peggy smile "that's all" Dooley beats Jack into speaking before he could even start complaining

"now I'm puzzled here" He turned to Evy when the two left "what?" she asked "stop playing dumb with me now, Lenoir" she chuckled

"I didn't hear a single protest from you about going to Russia, why" He asked leaning to his table "because I don't have the nerve to risk my life there" she responds looking at him "alright" he nodded

She stood up from her seat ready to leave his office when he called her name "You're the first person I've met than can lie while looking straight at a person's eyes" he stated with a slight smile. "I'll take that as a compliment" she smiled at him

All because of that, Dooley has been hit by realization. That woman is dangerous on her own ways, she's smart enough to take down a man without any weapons. She proved him loads of things that he doubted about her that day
