"Bucky" Evelyn groaned while he squeeze her cheeks together, the habit he always does to her for no absolute reason "what, you look cute!" he chuckled kissing her cheeks and placing his arm around her shoulder
"Sergeant Barnes" Peggy greeted walking towards them "Agent Carter" he greeted giving her a nod "hey peg!" Evelyn spoke "Colonel is looking for you" Peggy replied sternly making Evelyn's eyebrows raise "where were you anyways?" she asked making the two grin widely to each other
"brought her to our therapy" Bucky replied kissing her temple, worried quickly washed over Peggy "you okay?" she asked. Evelyn smiled looking at Bucky who's already looking at her "yes, thanks to this one"
Peggy placed both of her hands on her hips letting out a sigh fighting the urge to roll her eyes and grab Evelyn "are you on drugs?" Peggy asked making both of their head turn back to her "what?" evelyn asked chuckling "and here I am thinking you hate men" Peggy replied
"boys, not men" she corrected "Barnes!" Dum Dum Dugan called from behind making all their head turn "I have to go doll" Bucky smiled kissing her cheeks "see you around" Evelyn replied
"hi Lenoir!" Dugan yelled making her chuckle waving at him "Peg" Evelyn spoke walking beside Peggy "what?" she asked "why are you so moody?" she grinned making her roll her eyes
"because I had to look around the whole camp for you just to find out you were with Barnes" she respond "what's wrong with that?" she asked laughing. Peggy only rolled her eyes making Evelyn shake her head knowing something is bothering her
"you know what, ill set you up with Bucky" she smiled "Evelyn that man is head over heels for you" Peggy replied chuckling "well what about h-harlan? hunte-" "Howard" Peggy corrected her rolling her eyes
"Howard Stark right? what about him" Evelyn suggested making Peggy turn to her "him, seriously?" she asked "yeah no he is cute but has a punchable face" Evelyn said making Peggy nod her head in agreement "anyways, what abou-"
"Evy I'm not interested, I dont care who it is. I'm way too busy" Peggy cuts her off making her roll her eyes "no your not."
"Hey agents" Howard called walking beside Evelyn "and what are you doing here?" Peggy asked "Philips called for a genius so here I am" he grinned at Evelyn earning a side eye glare from her
"How you doing evy?" he smirked "don't call me that and I was good until I saw your shit eating grin and stupid face" she respond walking away from them
"so feisty" Howard chuckled watching her walk away and eyeing her up and down with a smirk "eyes up here" Peggy spoke glaring at him seeing him check her out
Peggy rolled her eyes seeing him still checking her out, she elbowed him on his stomac making him groan in pain "you ready to go to the Colonel?" Peggy asked like nothing happened "y-yes, of course" he groaned holding his stomach
"What happened to him?" Phillips asked seeing Howard groaning in pain with Peggy beside him "taught him how to be a gentleman" Peggy spoke making Evelyn smirk at her
"Stark, how are the weapons?" Phillips asked "half of them is finished, the others just need a double check and they'll be brough here" Howard replied placing his hands down on his pockets "I'll send Lenoir to your place tomorrow for the double check" Phillips said making their heads turn to him "what?" Peggy and Evelyn asked at the same time while Howard smirked
"got a problem?" Phillips asked the two "No" they both mumbled at the same time making Howard and Phillips chuckle. "so, what do you say about drinks after the double checking?" Howard asked Evelyn
"no thank you" Evelyn smiled at him "she's busy" Peggy spoke pulling Evelyn out with her. Evelyn looked at Peggy with amusement on her face while they walk out "Peggy what's happening to you?" she asked chuckling "what?" Peggy asked looking at her "your acting weird ever since I came back here with Bucky" Evelyn replied
"nothing I was just worried about where you went lately" she casually respond sitting down on the desk behind her "why?" Evelyn asked "can't I be worried about my best girl?" Peggy asked grinning then rolling her eyes "best girl huh?" Evelyn chuckled making her do the same
"no seriously, something is bothering you or your hiding something. What is it?" she asked crossing her arms "your insane" Peggy spoke shaking her head "Peggy, I've known you for a year now, your hiding something from me" Evelyn mumbled grinning
"and what would that be, genius?" Peggy raised her eyebrows. Evelyn tilt her head to the side while she keeps eye contact with her
Evelyn let's out a small chuckle making Peggy press her lips together knowing she guessed what it is but hoped that she isn't right "your being so obvious Peg" Evelyn spoke "about what?" Peggy asked
"come on, the moment I arrived here I saw how you looked at me. You were grateful that i dont pay attention to men because i was too busy with my job but now that I'm spending times with Bucky your bothered" Evelyn explained making her eyes slightly widen
"Evy your insane, w-where do you even get those ideas of y-yours" she let's out a nervous chuckle "I'm insane?" she asked walking towards Peggy
"Evelyn, your going crazy" Peggy mumbled "am i?" she asked again standing between Peggy's legs "what are you doing?" Peggy asked looking up at her. Evelyn leaned down to place both of her hands on the desk beside Peggy's hips "I'm right, aren't I?" Evelyn asked in a low tone
Peggy slowly tilted her head up to look at her "are you?" she asked bravely. Evelyn grinned seeing how dangerously close their lips are to each other, "I think I am" Evelyn whispered her lips touching Peggy's as she spoke
"Agent Lenoir?" a voice called from outside the door. The two stayed in their position with Evelyn smirking down at Peggy "glad to know I'm the only one that can make you nervous" she whispered making Peggy gulp
"I'll see you outside" she whispered again placing a kiss on Peggy's cheeks. She slowly stood up straight and walked towards the door. She turned to look at Peggy and shot her a wink before going out
Peggy let's out a breath she didn't knew she was holding "god damn evelyn" she mumbled before standing up and letting out a sigh to go back outside
