Evy ran away but not too far, she knows that it isn't over yet so she decided to only stay hidden rather than go into another country. The place that she's currently staying at was different from her own home. It's more simple and far from the noise of the cars that you would hear from the road every minute. It was a small and simple house with a small backyard that she's usually at
Just after some days, she have become fond of the peaceful surroundings from her temporary home, it even made her feel calm, calmer than she have been those past few days
A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts "hold on" she yelled making her way towards it "hey Natalie" Janine, her neighbour greeted with a huge smile "hi Janine"
"I was wondering if you would want to come with me to the farm market since you're new here I thought maybe I could show you around you know" Janine suggested, she was the only person that Evy talks to in their neighbourhood and she'd keep it that way knowing that she won't stay any longer there
"yeah sure, let's go" she immediately said smiling. Janine pulled her out excitedly and Evy locked her doors before walking with Janine

As Janine were picking vegetables from the sections, Evy looked around looking for some foods she'd like. "I can't believe how high the prices have gotten" Janine groaned making Evy laugh. The bell on the door rang indicating that someone entered the store making Evy turn
A tall man wearing a formal suit with a hat on entered the store and it made Evy's eyes widen knowing well who that is "I'll be right back" she mumbled to Janine
Jarvis turned to their direction to see a brown haired woman that looked oddly familiar to him who's already walking away from the girl she was next to jist seconds ago
Jarvis went towards Janine and stood beside her pretending to look through the fruits in that section "the prices have went up don't they" he spoke earning Janine's attention "oh it crazily did" she responds smiling at him
Jarvis tried looking around for Evy to make sure that it wasn't her but there was no signs of her in the store anymore. He decided to went out and look for her outside but found nothing
"where were you" Janine asked when Evy came back to her side right when she was about to pay "had to use the bathroom" she lied waiting impatiently for her to finish paying
The two have went back to their own homes after an hour spent in the market. Evy was putting her groceries on their own places when she got a knock from her door
"Do you need anything?" Evy asked seeing Janine on her doorstep "no Natalie, but I think he does" Jasmine smiled when Jarvis stepped in front of her revealing himself to Evy "Miss Natalie" Jarvis spoke while Evy glared at him
"thank you for your help" Jarvis mumbled to Janine after Evy inviting him inside "how the hell did you find me" she asked walking towards her backyard with him following behind
"I knew my eyes weren't playing tricks when I saw you in that market Miss Lenoir but you went missing right after that so I figured I'd follow someone who would be clueless about it" he explained
"so you used Janine" she rolled her eyes "I have too many questions Miss Lenoir" Jarvis said looking at her "then ask"
"why are you away from your own home and work" Evy sat down and kept her gaze on her backyard "I'm out of SSR, it's a long story I wouldn't tell"
"Mr Stark's been looking for you" he mumbled loud enough for her to hear "and so is the whole SSR" she said turning to him. Jarvis glanced at her wanting to ask what has happened but he knew the woman too well to push
"how's Howard" she asked "stubborn as always, I've been trying to convince him to turn himself and he's doing well by the way" Jarvis smiled at her "maybe he has his reasons that's why he isn't turning himself, I know Howard"
"You're right Miss Lenoir" he agreed "you need anything else?" she asked him "no, do you?" Jarvis said with pure genuineness "I'm alright Jarvis" she smiled patting his shoulder
Jarvis decided to give her her own space by saying goodbye, Evy walked him outside with a slight smile on her face. She couldn't admit how nice it felt to talk to someone she truly know and someone she trusts
"he have been looking for your address" Jarvis said handing Evy a boquet of red tulips. Evy smiled widely taking it from him "how long have you been carrying this around while looking for me Mr Jarvis"
"it's new actually, I throw them away the moment they rot and get new ones just in case I'd see you" he explained "Mr Stark's orders" Jarvis added
Evy rolled her eyes with a huge smile "typical Howard" Jarvis nodded smiling "I'll be on my way now" Evy smiled at him as he entered the car "oh, my wife do miss you Miss Lenoir"
"do me a favor, keep this between us" she said looking around referring to her house "of course" Jarvis turned the engine on "and tell Ana I said hello" she waved him goodbye before Jarvis left.
Evy went back inside her house with a huge smile on her face while she looks at the tulips in her hand "why am I surprised" she mumbled to herself seeing a card inside it
my dearest Evy, Where have you been? you're making me worry too much with all this hide and seek game you're doing or whatever. Don't ask how I know that you didn't receive any flowers I sent or how I knew that you're not at your own home. Know that I do miss you more than everything, there's nothing I want than to be with you and in your arms right now

"this man" she chuckled separating the letter from the boquet, she was about to put the tulips into her vase when her telephone rings
"Natalie" she said picking the telephone up "Agent Lenoir, we need you back here in the SSR" the familiar voice spoke making her stop in her tracks "we need you as soon as possible Lenoir" Jack spoke again "yeah, not happening" she responds "you were right about Ivchenko" Jack added trying to convince her back
"is that supposed to make me want to come back" she stubbornly replied "Peggy is under prosecution and we have her right where we last had you inside the SSR" Evy's eyebrows scrunched in confusion before it all hit her
she was right all along, she have been right, her instincts really nevwr failed her "now come back, on behalf of the SSR, we need you back here in the headquarters Agent Lenoir" Jack spoke after her silence
"over my dead body, Thompson" she said "you really wanna go down that road?" Jack asked with a huff "do you?" she asked him
"stop this games Evelyn and come b-" she cuts him off by putting the telephone down to end the call. The telephone rang again twice before it finally stopped. Jack must have figured that Evy won't really come back after all that happened
