"files just arrived" Evy announced to Dooley's office with a smile "what's up with you today?" he asked "what?"
"You're all smiley, that's rare and you're early, very much rare" he grins making her roll her eyes "well, thank you very much. I just happen to woke up in the righg side of the bed that's why" she smiled closing the door and walking back to her desk "good morning daniel" she greeted when he walked inside the bullpen
"good morning Agent Lenoir, you're early" he smiled widely "god, your the second person today" she groaned making him chuckle
Evy let's out a sigh when she saw her desk empty, no works for her to do today and no one to talk to because Peggy's still in mission
she picked up her coat and heads out to take a walk and head to the diner for some company
Walking around the street, she does nothing but to look around her, a lot has really changed since the war happened. People and surroundings are not the same as before but the great part about it is that everyone is over the war, they're all back with their normal lives and living them happily. Or maybe not everyone, a part of her is still stuck in that time of the war. Worse as it may sound, she prefers the days that there was a war all because she still have her loved ones with her back then
"Evelyn Lenoir?" a voice broke her out from her thoughts "what?" she asked confused not knowing why the man knows her "it's for you ma'am" he smiled nicely handing her the bouquet of pink tulips
"thank you" Evy took it from him trying to hold back her smile "there's a card inside ma'am, might be indicating who it is from" he said before walking away. Evy chuckled, she didn't have to read the card to know who the bouquet is from, she knows damn well who gave it
she looked around for a second before taking out the card and reading it
my dearest evy, how are you doing today? America's smartest man can't even find the words to use to express how much I miss you. I promise that once everything's over, you'll be the first person I'll go to. I hope you have a good day today

"I miss you too stupid" she mumbled putting the card inside her purse with the bouquet on her left hand. She continues her way into the diner with a huge smile displaying on her lips
"hi angie" evy greeted as she walked inside the diner. Angie's head immediately shot up hearing Evy's voice "oh my lord, Talia!" she greeted loudly making everyone's head turn to them "my apologies" angie waved to them before she hurriedly got out behind the counter to greet her friend
"calm down" evy laughed when angie almost tripped while walking excitedly towards her "I don't think I can, I haven't seen you for so long!" Angie wrapped her amrs around evy making her chuckle
"I missed you too angie" she hugged her back and angie tightly hugged her "I can feel your love angie, calm down now" she joked
"okay, calmed" angie smiled pulling away "how have you been" evy asked as angie started pulling her into a booth "ugh, everyone is still spending so little with their food. The war is over I thought we're all done with saving money or some" she complained
"That's shit but no, not everyone is done with saving money" Evy replied sitting down. Angie let's out a gasp making Evy's eyeborws raise "what?" she asked worriedly "maybe it's not only been three weeks since I last saw you, you have a man?" she asked grinning
"no I don't angie" evy smiled knowing where it came from "you bought those yourself? yeah right" angie pointed at the boquet "he's not my man"
"a suitor then" Evy smiled "a suitor, maybe" angie pulled her hand and looked at her smiling "who's the lucky fella then"
"I'll introduce you to him when it's the right time maybe" Angie rolled her eyes "does english knows who?"
"they're friends actually" she chuckled "that's unfair but I'll just wait" angie complained
"a lucky one though" angie spoke "what do you mean?" she rolled her eyes at evy "seriously? honey look at you. You're literally everything that every man dream's for" evy rolled her eyes chuckling "and a woman" angie added
"oh?" evy replied with raised eyebrows "you're not into women?" Angie asked "what? I-" angie shook her head "oh I think my heart just got broken" Angie drastically placed a hand on her chest
"who said I'm not?" evy chuckled "well I thought so" angie shrugged " you thought wrong then" evy grinned at her "you just patched my heart back together, thank you" Angie smiled widely "You're so weird"
"whatever, at least now I know I have a chance on you" angie winked at her "are you seriously-" "seriously attracted and in love with you? yes ma'am I am" Angie cuts her off "calm down angie" evy stated laughing "okay maybe I over shared my feelings"
"now I know why you missed me very much" evy joked "because I am in love Miss Lenoir" she smirked at evy "dear god, you and Peggy are just the same"
"ha! I knew it, peggy is attracted to you too" Angie loudly said "can't blame her, look at you talia" Evy's cheeks turned red not being able to handle every words that has came out from angie's mouth "okay, enough"
"oh my, I made you blush! I'm gonna tell peg about this, she's gonna be so jealous" angie cheered "You're unbelievable" evy shook her head smiling
