"Alright" Roger Dooley said closing both of Evy and Peggy's files. Peggy looked at him with raised eyebrows waiting for him to continue
Evy being the impatient one, she rolled her eyes and spoke "alright? what's that supposed to mean?" she asked earning a glare from Dooley "it means we'll call you"
"call us? what is this a assistant job interview?" Evy spoke again getting annoyed. Dooley placed his head down on his palm while sighing "you expect us to just accept some agents that quick?" Doolwy respond looking back at her
"please, we all know all those rats outside just walked in here with their file on hands, gave it to you, read it, then accept them even though they're not even qualified for a Agent " Evy loudly said knowing the agents outside Dooley's office who were sat on their desks are now standing right outside his office listening to their conversation
Peggy bites her lip trying to hide her smirk seeing how Evy won't take no for an answer today "let's be honest here, our files are more impressive than theirs " Evy added making Dooley's head shake not in disagreement but on how stubborn the woman is that she's making his head hurt
"alright, I'll see you both on Friday" he gave in with a sigh. If they didn't have an impressive record and files he would have thrown both of them out but he couldn't deny it to himself that they are both impressively skilled "friday? it's only monday today why the h-"
Peggy stood up from her seat cutting Evy off "friday it is then" Peggy spoke giving Evy a smile telling her that friday is fine. Evy rolled her eyes and stood up also "thank you for your time" Peggy smiled to Dooley before they both left his office
"how about try the assistant job interview across the street than be here" a agent spoke teasing them earning chuckles from his colleagues "how about try shutting your big disgusting mouth?" Evy shots back walking past them making them all stare at her in silence while both her and Peggy make their way out
"that temper of yours will get you on trouble one day" Peggy chuckled while they walk together "it has been getting me in trouble since day one peg" she replied smiling at her while Peggy nods in agreement
two woman walked past them with huge smiles on their faces while pecking each others lips "what do you think of that?" peggy asked "huh?" Evy asked turning back to Peggy "what do you think of relationships that has the same gender?"
"well, love is love. You can't force someone not to fall in love with anyone they want. It's their choice so let them choose who they want to love" she explained "do you see yourself having a relationship with the same gender as you?" Peggy asked again
"Peggy!" she scrunched her eyebrows on her making Peggy's to raise "what, I'm just asking!" Peggy chuckled "shut up, I'm not gay" she chuckled "yeah me too" peggy agreed laughing with her
"how much for a night?" Howard asked stopping his car in front of them with his signature smirk "your life" evy deadpans making his eyes roll "come on ladies I'll take you both home" he offered
The two rolled their eyes and opened his car door to get in the back seat. Howard turned to Evy "your not gonna sit next to m-" Evy slammed the door shut giving him a smile "absolutely not. Please drive"

"take care peg!" evy smiled to Peggy kissing her cheeks before Peggy got out of Howard's car "you too" she smiled back. Howard nods his head to Peggy before driving away. Evy let's out a sigh shaking her head "where the hell are we going?" evy asked with her eyes closed
"I'm taking you home?" Howard said looking at her through the mirror "do I look stupid to you?" she asked opening her eyes to look back at him "what? no!" he immediately said
"this is not the w-" "I'm taking you out to eat" Howard cuts her off. Evy only rolled her eyes trying to hide her small smile "you know this is literally kidnapping right?" she asked "well in that case, I'm ready to pay for the price of the crime that I'm about to commit your honor"
