"Carmen am I stupid?" I asked her as I laid my head on her lap.

I was over at her house today just chilling. I was on a cute little break because regents was cancelled. She was at home too.

"You already know the answer to that." She said massaging my head.

"I think you should stop it. I can see the signs of you falling for him more and more."

"But also our friendship is so good though."

"No matter what you say or do. You will always want more than a friendship with him. And when you truly realize that he will never want more you'll be fucked."

Speaking of the devil." I said and my phone started to ring and saw an incoming FaceTime call from Aman.

I picked up still laying my head in Carmen's lap.

"Who's rubbing your head." He asked raising her eyebrow.

I titled my phone to show Carmen and she waved.

"Oh Carmen, hello."

"Anyways I need your help." He said shuffling around his room.

"With what?"

"Actually I don't need any help I'm just bored."

"What happened to your goons."

"They're out being hoessss and shiiii."

"And you don't have any? How embarrassing."

"Hahahahaha you're so funny Korienne." He said making me sit up instantly.

"Nigga how you know my gov?" I asked confused and he started laughing hard as hell. When he was done laughing hard as hell he smiled brightly into the camera.

"You got a pretty smile Aman."

"Thank you Korriene." I mugged him so damn hard.

mom<3- come home you need to watch Jamely for an hour or so until your grandma comes to pick him up. Your father and I are going to be out until tomorrow afternoon.

"Carmen I have to go homeeee." I said with a frown.

"Ughhhhh. You know I'm not even too mad. You've been here since 11am." I gave her a hug and kiss before heading downstairs.

"Why you gotta go home." Aman asked as I walked.

"Gotta watch my little brother until my grandma comes to pick him up."

"Damn. Well get home safe."

"Thank youuuu." I said in the camera before ending the call.
