Kori's POV

"CARMENNNNNNNN!!!" I yelled jumping on her bed and tackling her.

"KORIIIIII!"

"I'm so happy," I said as I laid on her.

"Why?"

"Lots of things. Recently I've been feeling #awesomesauce." She laughed at that before I sat up.

"Whyyyyyy, tell me!!!!" She sat cross cross looking a little too nosy.

"Well my grades have been a little higher. I'm talking like 94 type shit. I've been getting more into my poems and shit. I gained 3 friends and I've realized that having friends is pretty cool. Even thought I tend to go ghost a lot. I'm trying to get better at that."

"And you got a little boyfriend. And Aman got him a little girlfriend. And Jamely has been such a cutie. And I've been happy with life at the moment. And trying to love myself a little more. That part is hard as shit."

"And Ive admitted to myself the feelings I have for Samir. And I've grown to really like physical touch."

"I thought y'all been dating?" She asked with a raised brow.

"No ma'am. Just friends this whole time."

"I always thought you liked him whenever I saw you guys together."

"So you knew before I knew?" She fell back laughing in response.

"We both started being more physically affectionate. Like little things. I like it that way. Because big gestures would probably make me uncomfortable."

"Tell him you like him."

"That's scary. Even though we both kind of make it clear how we feel we haven't said anything."

"And what if I do tell him, we feel the same way. And somehow I fuck it up. Like I do with everything else. Ghosting him while we are friends is less hurtful then ghosting him when we like each other in a different level."

"I don't wanna hurt him. He already has enough going on. And I won't make a promise not to hurt him because I can't promise that."

"Then explain that to him."

"I think about it. But enough about me. What about youuuuuu!"

"Welllllll, I got into my youth leadership program so I'm excited for that." She said and I gave her a biggg hug because she's been grinding for that.

"Like this will really help me get my community service hours and give me more experience that I need in the future. Especially with wanting to start my own business in the future!"

"Andddddd I'm super excited for the party we bout to head out too."

"Anddddd Adrian gave me head. And I also am planning-"

"Hol up we ain't gone speed past that." I said putting a hand in her face. "What was it like? And where because your dad is strict. Hell he won't let Samir come upstairs!"
