Kori's POV

"Bruhhh I can't do this," Aman said as he sat down next to me, putting his head down on the table.

"Care to explain?"

"Audrey is stressing me out. She really not who I though she was."

"Y'all have been together for like 2-3 weeks and already going through it. That's tough." I said chuckling to myself.

"Kori this isn't funny," he replied clearly bothered.

"My bad. But what's even happening. I'm very lost."

"I mean we're good and all but she has like 10000 guy friends. And I'm not really all that macho protective ass nigga. Like I trust her. But when I see her with them it's just like, Ion like it."

"So you're jealous?"

"I mean yeah. They be all on her and shit. Hugging her and messing around. And seeing her smile with them." He shook his head in disgust.

"Then why don't you tell her?"

"I did but she just be like don't worry don't worry it's never been like that. Never will be."

"Then either just trust her orrrrrr tell her again and really implement it."

"But here's the gag," he said pointing at me and I tilted my head.

"She be having problems with me talking to you..."

"And you decided to come over here and talk to me? You want me to get jumped???" I started blinking profusely at him.

"Well I did tell her that you well-used to-to well," he trailed off looking down at the table.

"What would possess you to do that?" I exclaimed looking at him with the most annoyed look ever. Now Audrey probably thinks I'm still after him and the whole nine.

I'm past that chapter of being all about him and wanting to be with him. I mean yeah deep down a little I still like him. I mean I obsessed over him for like months. But I don't see us together now. We're good where we are at.

"We tell each other everything. And I told her that you don't anymore but she still don't trust it."

"Here's what your dumbass is going to do..." I said looking dead at him. I glanced over seeing Samir glaring at us with his hands balled up tightly. That looks like it's hurting his palms to be honest. I looked back at Aman.

"You're going to stop sitting with me on days where we have lunch with her. I'm not becoming your girlfriends enemy. Two, you're gonna figure out whether to talk to her about her guy friends or just trust her. And three, please get moving because Samir doesn't like you." He looked over seeing Samir standing by another table looking directly at us.

He nodded at Samir but Samir didn't respond.

"Bye Korienne," he mumbled walking away.

"Stop saying my government. Not even my parents call me by that." He laughed going over to either his friends or Lori.

"Hey grumpy," I said as Samir sat across from me.
