"What is it baby? Where are you dragging me to?" Jimin asks worried when his 5 year old son Jungmin pulls him from the laundry room

"Go and dress up pretty, appa... hyung and noona already bought you the dress... " Jungmin says pushing Jimin into the bedroom and closing the door "...hurry before dadda gets here..."

Jimin chuckles at Jungmin's cuteness and proceeds to freshen up for the evening

Meanwhile

"Dadda! Thank God you came!" Jisoo exclaims as soon as she sees Jungkook walk in after his office

"What's wrong baby?" Jungkook frowns "...is everyone okay?"

Jisoo nods "...everyone is just fine. You just go freshen up in Jihyun's bedroom. I already put your favorite set of clothes in there..." Jisoo pushes her dad into the room and shuts the door

Jungkook chuckles, a bit tired after work. His kids were always weird, just like him.

After a while

Jimin comes out to the living room to see Jungkook already dressed up. Jungkook's eyes widen when he sees the love of his life wearing a beautiful new dress that made Jimin look extra cute and pretty.

"You look gorgeous, my love..." Jungkook stands up from the couch to hold Jimin in his arms before kissing the boy's lips softly

Jisoo, Jihyun and Jungmin coo at that before dragging both of their parents into the balcony.

Jungkook and Jimin, their eyes widen in surprise seeing the beautiful decorations and food already laid out for them, a beautiful candle lit dinner awaited them

"What's all this, guys?" Jungkook asks confused

"It's valentines day, dadda! And you guys couldn't celebrate it the year before because I got sick and you both had to come take care of me..." Jihyun says pouting "...I spoiled your day..."

Jimin smiles as he reaches out to hold the boy's hand "....you could never spoil our day, baby... none of you can... we love you all so much... you didn't need to do all this... but we appreciate it a lot... it means a lot to us..." Jimin says, his eyes glistening with tears

Jungkook had his own set of tears as he looked at his children with love "...your appa and I, we love you all so much... thank you..." Jungkook pulls the whole family into a big hug

After few seconds, Jisoo, Jihyun and Jungmin excuse themselves leaving the two adults alone on the balcony

"...they really went all out, huh?" Jimin says looking around

Jungkook smiles, his hands reaching out to hold Jimin's hands "...happy valentines day, love... I love you so much... thank you for still being mine..."

"....and I will continue to be yours till my last breath...Happy valentines..." Jimin says leaning in to softly peck the man's lips

After a while

"Do you remember our first valentines?" Jungkook asks as they continue eating

"...how can I forget..." Jimin smiles "...we accidentally had our first date on valentines"

Past

Jimin had come to Seoul that Valentines day to visit his brother Jin. Jin was dating Namjoon at the time and decided to take Jimin along with him. When Namjoon informs this to Jungkook, his younger brother, the boy decides to join their date.

Jungkook knew of Jimin. He had seen pictures of Jin and Jimin on Namjoon's phone.

Jimin's plan was to go shopping while NamJin were on their date. Jungkook joins him and they learn quite a bit about each other as they hang out, shopped together, played games and had dinner together on valentines day.

"... what would you want to do if you were dating someone..." Jungkook asks "....hypothetically... I know you have never dated before..."

"Hmm... I would do the typical stuff only but I don't want the title as a date...." Jungkook looks confused "....I think it puts a lot of pressure on both me and that person to make the date perfect. I think if you like someone, though it does feel nice to be acknowledged and to do something special, I don't want each date to be like that. I want to know the person more, not what he does to impress me ....In short I like things simple..."

Jungkook smiles slightly with a hint of a smirk making Jimin confused

"What?"

"Did you realise we just had our first date?" Jungkook says

"W-What?" Jimin's cheeks reddened

"I like you Jimin... a lot... and I don't think this date would have gone any simpler ... don't you think?" Jungkook asks

Jimin is suddenly shy ".... I didn't know this was a date"

"It wasn't..." Jungkook says making Jimin's smile disappear "...but I wanted it to be... and this was something you wanted all along... So why not?"

Jimin smiles looking at his fingers "...I like you too"

Soon

They both intertwine their hands when they leave the mall. Jungkook drops Jimin off at home

"Happy valentines day...." Jungkook says leaning down but Jimin stops him

"Happy valentines... you should go now before Jin hyung comes back..." Jimin looks away blushing making Jungkook smile shyly as well

They both couldn't stop blushing that entire night

I'm home ... I love you... sleep tight - Jungkook messages Jimin as soon as he reaches home

I love you too - Jimin replies back

Back to present

"I can't believe it took us till Christmas to have our first kiss..." Jungkook pouts "....but the wait was worth it. You are worth it..."

Jimin blushes ".... you are worth the whole world to me Jungkook ah... I love you so much"

"I love you too... for everything... this happiness... this life... this home... and our kids... thank you for everything" Jungkook's eyes glisten

"Thank you too... happy valentines day love" Jimin walks over to the man to kiss him but Jungkook pulls the boy onto his lap and cups the boy's cheek while looking at him as if he is the most precious being

"Happy valentines" Jungkook says as his lips brushed Jimin's plump ones, the man's hands softly caressed the boy's cheek as their lips delicately moved against the other, inhaling each other's breath, and the taste of Jungkook's tongue makes Jimin moan

They both pull away when they feel the need to breath

Jungkook looks at Jimin, their eyes reflecting their emotions as they rest their foreheads against each other's

"I love you" they both say together before they both giggle

Jungkook cups Jimin's face again, leaning up to peck the boy's head

"I love you..."

"I love you too" Jimin says closing his eyes feeling Jungkook's soft lips pressing against his cheeks closest to his lips
