As the Titans closed in on what was believed to be a huge under ground criminal base, you couldn't help but feel nervous.
"Shying away?" Gar asked.
"Nah." You smiled, adjusting your costume. "Just ready to kick ass."
Dick and Kori jumped into action, taking out two guards, before looking around to check if the coast was clear.
When it was, Starfire raised her hand, creating a green light.
"That's the signal." You chimed, before grappling across another mountain, similar to the one you'd been perched on, and landing near Nightwing and Starfire.
"They're slow." Robin grumbled, grappling down next to you.
"I hardly had time to answer a post!" Gar called, before flying down and joining the rest of the team.
"It's a tough climb, especially in this moonlight." Nightwing said, looking up to the mountain.
"Nightwing." Starfire said.
"They're bound to spot us."
"Nightwing."
"If we wait for those clouds-"
"Dick!" Star cut him off.
"What?"
"Terra is taking us up there." Star stated.
"She is?"
"Wait a go, lover boy." You smirked, throwing your arm around his neck and the other on your hip.
"Oh, buzz off, Birdy."
"I do all the dirty work around here." Terra complained, before activating her power and opening up the mountainside. "Going up."
"Let's move." Starfire ordered.
You all wedged into the small compartment of a rock-elevator, before Terra closed it off and began to lift it up with her powers. Starfire created the light again, and you looked around nervously.
"You alright?" Jaime asked.
"Mild claustrophobia." You replied. "This is nothing compared to following Daddy Bat and Boy Wonder around in sewers and vents from nine to five."
Damian glared at you, before Terra grunted.
"You can do it." You encouraged her. "Just focus on the way the rock moves." You placed your hand on her shoulder for comfort.
"Quiet down!" Jaime ordered his beetle as it beeped. "The bug's nervous."
"I'm not feeling too good about this myself." Raven replied. "How come you're so calm?" Raven asked Gar.
"You've never been a gopher."
"Oh, you dork!" You said, smiling while play punching him in the arm.
The rock around you began to rumble, and the beetle panicked, shooting out and almost hitting both Raven and Gar.
"Scarab, stop." Jaime ordered.
"Control that thing, Beetle." Robin hissed. "Or I'll control it for you."
"You're going to have a sword fight in here?" Raven asked as Damian flashed his katana threateningly. "How about some place roomier like a broom closet?"
"Everyone, calm down." Starfire said.
"The enemy is above us." Nightwing agreed. "You have to channel all your thoughts about that. Remember, these opponents are different. Uh, as Kori will tell you."
"No, keep going." She smiled, seduction and admiration in her voice.
"Will one of you just explain the fucking mission?" You asked.
"I've been studying them since I left the Titans. They're zealots, extremists. They'll sacrifice themselves without hesitation to get to you. So, the quicker we take them down, the better." Nightwing turned to Starfire. "That about cover it?"
"Very well said."
"And you tell us not to flirt on missions." You snickered.
Suddenly, the rock around you rumbled, and you crashed into Gar. He caught you, planting his feet into the earth.
"Terra, can you do this?" Starfire asked, concern in her voice.
Terra sighed. "Yes, if you'd all shut up." The rock came to a stop. "We're six inches under the floor." Terra bent over, trying to catch her breath. "Who wants to knock?"
"Oooo! Me, me, me!" You raised your hand, and Dick smirked.
He picked you up, flipping you upside down, and held you by your waist. Your legs were scrunched up, and your hands were on his.
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Yeah! I got this. I'll clear a path, you guys will hop in. Easy peasy."
"I'm sorry, what's about to happen?" You heard Terra ask.
Before anyone could respond, Nightwing crouched down, gaining momentum, before jumping up and throwing you into the air. Your legs extended, and broke through the rock. You flipped, landing on your feet.
"Jesus." You muttered. "That hurt more than I remember it."
"Titans," Starfire yelled as she exited through the hole you had created. "Go!"
