What's a Black Bird without her Robin?
Black Birds run in the family. Dick had Grace. Jason had Estella. Tim had Rachel. Damian had Lorri.
He was obnoxious and rude. Made himself at home. Imposed on the delicate life you and Bruce had composed. And...

You pressed your foot against the upturned rock, before giving it an experimental kick.
It almost crumbled.
You sighed, moving to stand on top of the rock, before jumping. When you landed, the rock gave out, and you fell not only through the roof, but through the floor of the building and into a chamber.
"Ow..." you groaned, rolling onto your back.
"Black Bird?"
You sat up upon hearing his voice.
"Damian?" You asked, standing. He was bruised and beaten, and trapped inside the rock in the wall.
"Listen to me, Lorrietta. You need to-"
Damian was cut off by you kissing him. He was shocked at first, but felt himself relaxing into the kiss, deepening it as he leaned forward, his eyes closing. Your hands rested on his cheeks, rubbing his bruises and scrapes soothingly. You opened your mouth, and Damian took in invitation, allowing his tongue to rub against yours. The kiss only intensified from there, as if you had both hungered for each other for so long.
You pulled back, and looked to Damian, your tongue lolled out. Damian had his own mouth open as he tried to catch his breath.
"Lorri," he began. "You need to-"
"So glad you could join us." Someone cut in. "Bird boy was getting lonely."
You turned around, glaring.
"Deathstroke."
"In the flesh." He replied.
"What do you want?" You asked, standing in front of Damian defensively.
"Your love and appreciation. You didn't even invite me to the party."
You raised an eyebrow, wondering how this man could joke in such a situation, but shrugged it off, and pulled out Damian sword from your belt.
"You sure you know how to use that?"
"'Bout to find out." You replied. "If I do, then I learned from the best."
You could feel Damian smirking behind you.
You ran forward, swinging at Slade, only for him to block your attack. You fought for a while, panting heavily after you managed to cut both his arm and stomach. You planted your feet, completely unharmed and ready for another attack.
"Enough games." Slade muttered, before coming at you with full force.
You tried to keep up, but he was just too fast, especially with two swords. He caught your arm between his knee and his elbow, striking your arm, causing you to drop Damian's sword.
You let out a yell of pain, clutching your arm.
"Beloved!" Damian cried.
"Beloved?" Deathstroke repeated. "This just got so much more fun."
"Yeah," you agreed, pulling your Escrima sticks off your belt and fusing them into a staff. "It did."
You ran forward again, attacking Slade much more brutally than before. You clicked your staff, and the sharp ends on either side popped out. You disconnected it, and swung on of your sticks at Slade, slashing his chest.
You continued to fight, eventually re-fusing your sticks to form a staff. This time, when you stabbed Slade in the gut with the pointed spike, it electrocuted him.
He yelled in pain, before you pulled your staff back, making him fall to the ground panting. You ran forward, your staff above your head as you leapt up, prepared to stab Deathstroke, only for him to kick you in the stomach, sending you flying. You got up again, running forward, hitting Deathstroke in the chest again, and re-electrocuting him. He yelled again, dropping to the floor. You raised your fist to strike him, only to scream.
"Lorri!"
You looked down to see a pointed rock, which had formed from the floor, stabbed through your left thigh. You screamed again as the rock exited your thigh, only for you to be wrapped up by more rock and sent into the same wall as Damian.
"You traitor!" You heard Damian yell. "The Titans cared!"
"I never liked you." Terra hissed.
You looked up. "Get sick of the party?" You asked, before spitting directly into her face.
Terra wiped her face of your saliva, before activating her power and making you sink deeper into the rock. It crushed your bones, your body becoming compact.
"Beloved!" Damian yelled.
"Stop!" Deathstroke yelled. "We need them alive."
He stumbled out the door, no doubt still dizzy from the shocks you had given him, and Terra released you, allowing your body to resurface.
You are alone for nearly an hour before Damian spoke.
"Lorri?"
"What?"
"That kiss-"
"Fucking forget it, Damian. We aren't together, we never were." You spat, anger clouding your mind.
"Oh, so who are you with? The animal?!"
"What if I was?!" You yelled back, turning your head to face him.
Damian glared at you, but remained silent, before looking down, letting his head hang.
You went quiet, your face softening.
"How long have you been here?"
"Shut up."
"Damian."
"Since I went out."
You looked down. He must be horribly under hydrated and hungry.
"Damian?"
"What?"
"That kiss was on impulse. It was an instinct. Something I'll never be able to get rid of. Just like my love for you." You looked at the floor of the chamber, your mind finally clearing from the haze you had been in for nearly three years. "You do things to me, Damian. Things I can't explain. And when I saw you with Raven before Trigon, I just lost it."
"What?"
"What what?"
"What do you mean, you saw me with Raven?"
You raised a brow, looking to him. "I saw you two together outside. And then the carnival, and I just-"
"That witch girl has no power over me." Damian cut you off. "Unlike you."
Damian glared at the floor, and there was a prominent red on his cheeks and ears.
"Is that your way of saying, 'I love you'?" You asked, smiling warmly.
"Perhaps." He continued to look away from you, before finally meeting your eyes. "How's your thigh?"
"It's okay, now."
