What's a Black Bird without her Robin?
Black Birds run in the family. Dick had Grace. Jason had Estella. Tim had Rachel. Damian had Lorri.
He was obnoxious and rude. Made himself at home. Imposed on the delicate life you and Bruce had composed. And...

"She's really sweet." Jaime assured you. "You'd love her."
"She sounds perfect for you." You smiled, spreading Nutella on your pancake. You then rolled it up, and took a bite of your make-shift burrito, before swallowing. "Remind me to volunteer some time. I'd love to meet her. I bet you two are very cute together."
"What?" Jaime asked, looking up. His beetle beeped. "Nononononono, I meant as in like- she's pretty as a friend, y'know? I mean, I don't like her. Not in that way. It's not that I don't like her, I just don't like like her. I mean, if she liked me-"
"Jaime." You said, cutting him off. "You're going to be late."
"Oh, crap!" He yelled, looking at his watch. "Yeah, I am." He threw on his jacket. "Thanks for breakfast, Lorri!" He called behind him.
You sighed, smiling as you shook your head.
Kori and Dick had left last night to start moving into their own apartment, which left you as mother bird while they were gone. You checked on Raven, delivering her a glass of water, which she thanked you for, and Gar, making sure he wasn't getting into trouble.
You finished off your pancake and started heading towards Terra's room to check on her. You knocked.
"Terra?" You asked.
No response.
Eh, it was still early. Only six am. She was probably still sleeping.
You made your way back to the couch, flopping down, and watching the sunrise. You could remember laying in your bed back at Wayne manor, watching the sunrise with Damian.
Damian?
Where was he? He swore he would be here. You pulled out your phone, and dialed his contact. It rang for a few minutes, and the voicemail began.
"This is Damian. If you're hearing this, I'm under cover, so stop calling. Don't even bother leaving a message."
"Damian, it's Lorri. I know you're 'on patrol', or whatever, but you need to come back. Today is the party, and you swore you'd be here. I promise you, if your sorry ass isn't back here by noon, I will hang your corpse on the chandelier... I'm sorry. It just came out. Uh.. Look, just be safe, okay?... Bye."
You put the phone down, rubbing your eyes, before turning to change out of your pajamas. You threw on your outfit for the day, and began a long yoga session, which you had been doing to help your flexibility. When 11:00 rolled around, you left your room and pulled the ice cream cake the group had been hiding out of the freezer.
Dick and Kori entered the kitchen along with everyone else, and you all began to decorate the common room. You and Gar set the coffee table, Jaime, Dick, and Kori were on decorations, and Raven was sent to fetch Terra.
"Get the lights!" You whisper yelled to Gar, and he ran over to the switch, flicking it off.
Raven jogged in (it was the first time you hadn't seen her just walking), and got into position.
