"Ray, Y/n... Why exactly are you working for Mom?"
Ray grinned at the question
"We volunteered to do so, by our own volition" I said and Ray stepped up from my voice
"Or rather~, It's more like I put myself out there" Ray smirked at me, I rolled my eyes at him
"Why..." Norman muttered
"To prepare for our escape" I said
"ALL OF THIS WAS FOR OUR ESCAPE" Ray added quite angrily
<Flashback>
I leaned on a tree with Ray sitting down beside me and mom stared at us, she was in front of us
"What are you gonna do about it? Kill us?" I rolled my eyes jokingly
She was silent and didn't speak
"Mom, I-We... Want to make a deal with you" My eyes turned at Ray surprised and ready to listen to the deal because we haven't discussed this

"To prepare... For our escape?" Norman repeated but asked
"That's right... All of this was mere pre-planning. It was the best way for me to understand our enemy and for me to gather resources. I also had to add Y/n to gather more information. That's why I've practically sold ourselves to the enemy. The cards weren't completely stacked against us. "Mom went through all the trouble to cultivate us. We're part of her pride and Joy. Harvesting us halfway should be something mom would like to avoid at all costs." Sure enough, mom went along with it. For her, her gains are more important than the rules. I demanded roughly two things from her. 1) that she wouldn't ship us off right off the bat if I worked for her, and 2) that I'd be compensated for our work" Ray explained
"... Compensation... What do you mean with that?" Norman asked
"All kinds of useless crap. I could get her to order things that weren't found in this house" Ray smirked
"Were you testing what could and couldn't get her hand on?" Norman asked, interested now
"Exactly. It was like killing two birds with one stone, since I could also get a taste of the "outside world" through these demand. In the end I could get almost anything I wanted, as long as they weren't anything dangerous. The only thing that sucked was that all the items we received weren't exactly the newest versions available" Ray said annoyed at the last part
"Then... When you said that you had an idea on how to destroy the transmitters... Were you actually telling the truth?" Norman asked him
"I've seen them with my own eyes. I've been experimenting. It took many years, but I eventually found a way. I'm definitely capable of destroying them. Let me be clear here: I can reliably render the transmitters useless" Ray said
Norman was completely shocked now
"Do you get it?" I asked, squinting at him a bit
"Sitting right in front you in this moment... ARE YOUR MOST SUPREME TRUMP CARDS. We're in a position where we could potentially stab mom in the back from inside. I know how to render the transmitters useless. And on top of it all... We know more than you could ever imagine. While it might not be everything, it's all information you need to plan your escape. We... Are your strongest cards. I've been preparing for this ever since I knew the house's secret. In away such that, nobody... That you guys nor mom would ever find out about it. I tricked Conny, who was none the wiser, and stole little bunny. I made you three go to the gate. You're right, it's just as you said. All of this... Was for the sake of keeping You three akive"Ray said pointing two fingers at Norman and Eyeing at me
He turned to me "You can leave now"
I turned my head to the side "Are you... Gonna say something behind my back?"
He leaned to my ear "Go now" He said, commanding me
I grumbled "Go but wait for me" He added and i nodded and waited outside for them
~Later~
Ray came out of the room with a smirk and Norman looking frustrated on the bed
"Lets go" He said, nudging his head to ny direction then we walked fowards the dining hall
"Mom will be mad" I mumbled under my breath
"It's fine" He smirked, his chin leaned up
We entered the room a room in the dining hall
Mom stood from the wall on the side waiting for us
"You two are late" Mom stated, she had a sort of smirk on her face and same with Ray
"I was talking with Norman" Ray said
"So whats up with them?" Mum asked
"Nothing worth reporting. They've just been really focusing on the tag training" Ray reported
"More importantly, that "aid" of yours.... Shes moving on her own. You better watch out" I said
"I see" Mom replied
"You shouldn't have requested her to come. Pretty sure you called her to keep us in check anyway, right?" Mom was quiet by Rays question but he kept on going "Even though we've been completely loyal to you these past six years. Who would've thought you'd still be cautious around us. Honestly, that makes me kinda sad"
"Just in case pigs start to fly. Your work (She said this just because Ray would always tell you what you should be doing all the time so it was mostly him) these past six years has been splendid. Of course I trust you. But this wouldn't have happened if you were behaving how you should've been in the first place. I certainly couldn't have anticipated that Norman would actually break the house rules, but it's not like I expected you two to be so useless that you'd fail at your one job if keeping watch either" Mom said
{Guess she hasn't known I went with Them}
"My bad. That's also why I'm making this up to you, by spying on them. Ive sold out my closest friends, and we've also told you about the disturbing actions by the sister in fine detail. You better compensate us well for this" Ray at growled as Mom rested her head on the wall
"Of course. This is a deal, after all. I've already ordered what you two asked for. It's going to take two to three days to arrive, as usual" Mom answered and we left
{Ray made his mind a long time ago. "Soon we'll be six. At most, we can stay here for another six years. The number of lives we can save will be limited. That's the "reality" of this world. I don't give a damn about what all of you want. There's no way I'm letting these three.... Walk straight towards their Graves! There's no way I'm letting this 6-year long plan of mine go up in smoke!"...}
