103] One More Step

"And? You found the place with that temple and the Golden Water"

"Did you figure something out?" Mark asked

"Were there any hints?" Chris asked

-Flashback-

We found the Golden water at the third possible spot, and the temple at the second candidate location.

We stood infront of a temple, all still wearing our Demon masks

"This temple... There's no mistaking it..." Emma muttered

"This is it! The temple I saw back at Khuvitidala"

Gilda and Don stared at each other, I knew because I was in the middle of them

"We did it!!!" Gilda exclaimed, grabbing me

"We found it!! It's here! It's really here! I'm so glad!" Don yelled

"Shh! Cool it" Violet scolded us, I got mixed up with the scolding of Violet because of Don and Gilda

"This temple's real quiet, huh?" Zack said/whispered

"It's a lot diffrent from how lively the city was" I mumbled/whispered

{A long staircase?}

While I was staring at the staircase, I saw a Demon

"Someone's there...!" Emma warned the us

We saw the demon there "We shouldn't stay here for long" Zack said

"Yeah, let's check this out quickly" Ray said

We started walking up the stairs and we reached the top where the demon was, he was feeding some birds

We walked up another flight of stairs and saw some short towers

I stared into a room in one of the towers, grasping the bars that separated the room from me

{How unexpectedly small... Short towers? 6 of them... All the doors are steel-gated...? So we're not able to get inside}

I saw a statue, and a book with an eye, surrounded by fruits that looks like offerings

{Everything here is ancient... And also, another one of those "Eyes"}

I suddenly saw a box, taped with strange letterings

{What is this? What is that...}

"Hey everybody, over here!!" Violet called

We gathered around that tower of where she was

"... A human? No, a demon? It doesn't have a face... " Don said

"Similar to "The One"" I said

"Huh?" Gilda muttered

"No... His clothes and physique were both totally diffrent, but this gives off the same atmosphere..." I explained

"But you know, seems like this temple doesn't have any clues regarding The Seven Walls... What is the deal with this temple-" Violet said

"Hey, look at this! The ceiling!!!" Ray told us

We looked up "AA..." Emma mumbled

""Day and Night"..."

"What's drawn on the other ceilings!?" I asked/yelled at the others

We all began looking at each of the tower

"Over here!" Emma called us as we searched after a few minutes

""Golden Water"...!"

"AND THIS ONE!?"

"THIS ONE!?"

"This... Could it perhaps be..." Don paused

"Yeah" Gilda replied

After piecing the six tower's ceiling images together at that temple

"Did you figure it out? Not just clues, but an actual method to be able to get in!?" Lanion asked

"Yup!" Emma exclaimed

"HURRAY!!!" The others celebrated

"It's thanks to all of you" Emma started "This past year, everyone has done their part"

"Only two months left. With this, we can make it in time" Chris said

"Yeah, we still cany escape just yet, but now we're able to go to "The Day and Night". We can yo ahead and forge a new "Promise". One more step and we can reach it, a world where we won't be pursued. A future where the cattle children are free to live how they please!" I said, wanting to celebrate with them

"So? How do we get in?" Yugo asked

"The "Entrance"... The method to get to the "Day and Night", Is this" Emma said, pulling out a jar with Golden water

"Golden water?"

"EVERYBODY, RUN AWAY NOW!!! THE ENEMY IS ATTACKING"

Then we all heard an explosion
