"What's the matter, Emma and Y/n?" Lewis asked

"Is murder really the only way?" Emma questioned

"Hmm?" Lewis hummed

"Isn't there a way we can avoid fighting?" Emma asked again, my eyes widened

"... What in the world are you talking about?" Lewis grumbled

"I can't let it go that you kill for fun. However, I myself hunt, too. I'm not sure about what's right or wrong, but... I don't want anybody else to be killed. That's why I've decided to put an end to this playground" Emma explained

{What the hell are you talking about?!}

"But... It's not like I want to kill you" Emma said, I took a few steps back

"I am surprised to hear this. The things you saw yesterday... Wasn't that enough?" Lewis asked her

"Yes, I hate you, and I can't forgive you. But that doesn't change what I said. Bayon, the boss of this place us now gone. At this point, there's no reason to shed even more blood. If there's any way we can finish this without fighting... Then I could get through this without losing any more friends. And you would leave here alive" Emma said, her eyes stared at him as if they were just gonna pop out

"Hah... Right when u was starting to question your resolve... I see you haven't lost your nerve. I'm relieved, really" Lewis said

"I cannot afford to make wrong choices. This is the last, precious chance to try... So I'm trying. Would toy agree to anything else other than fighting?" Emma question, making her voice louder on the last sentence

"No! Foolish question, Emma. What do you think I've waited so long for? I want to hunt and kill you. And, should you and your kind manage to hunt me and kill me, you'll only fulfill my heart's desire. The purity of yours ideals is beautiful to behold. But the world is wide, and not limited to that. There are many ways to think about values, about beauty... And so it is with us. Do not think we could ever reach mutual understing. The only destiny for us is a fight to the death" Lewis answered

I immediately aimed my gun, Emma did the same

"That's how you do it. The 10 minutes are all but gone. Only three seconds now... 2.. 1..shall we begin?"

Emma pressed something and we all turned our back from each other running

I hid behind a house across from Emma
