Emma came running in the dining room, she seemed frustrated
"Ah, Good morning, Emma!" "Morning!"
"SORRY, I OVERSLEPT!!!" She yelled/apologized
"Hehe..." Anna chuckled
"Us too" a couple of the other older kids said as they yawned
She came to and noticed I wasn't settling down to eat
"We're you able to wake up on time?" She asked me
I smiled at her "Yeah. It's become part of my life so much that if I overslept I would also go nuts"
"At least you were able to wake up on time, right Oliver?" Emma said turning to Oliver who walked to us
"Hahahahaha! For once, we didn't have to worry about anything" Oliver told her
"... It would've been okay if you two woke me up" Emma told us
"But everyone looked so comfortable while they were sleeping" Oliver said and I agreed with him with a nod
She seemed frustrated still and put her hand to her mouth
"... I don't ever remember sleeping in a bed" Emma said
"Same" I said rubbing the back of my neck
"Zack carried you two to your beds" Ray said
"Ah..." I mumbled
"Thanks!" Emma thanked Zack you entered
"What about Norman?" Emma asked
"By that time, he wasn't there anymore" Ray said

We were hanging the laundry and Ray, Emma and I were talking
"I wonder what kind of plan Norman has" Ray suddenly brought up "Didn't what he say make you curious? I know I am"
"But this is Norman's plan we're talking about. We definitely have nothing to worry about. And also, Norman said "A future where we don't lose anybody"... But are you actually "Glad"?" Ray said, the last part making me confuse
"... Huh?" I hummed
"... What do you mean?" Emma asked
"Norman's talk about destroying all of the plantations. You two oppose this after all. Don't you Emma and Y/n?" Ray said
"Actually I was just scared of more of our siblings dying, but if there's no one dies then I'm fine" I said with a smile to reassure him
{I mean like... I don't wanna be seen as a wierdo...}
Ray turned to Emma and I turned to her
She laughed "What? There's no way I could oppose it. More than anything, we won't have to keep running away. You said it too, Ray"
"Yeah, I said that. But that isn't the future you're looking for. Is it?" Ray asked her
{Wow. Ray really sees through her}
"Yeah... I'm a bit weird... Norman's kindness and honesty... I can understand how everyone could be so delighted. "If there were no demons". But you know... I don't want to kill the demons. Isn't it strange? Even though everyone is so happy and although that would be happiness... I also want the demons to be happy. This isn't just about ourselves. I was all too eager to think that.-Even so... I dragged everyone into more and more dangerous situations. Wishing that I'd be able to make choices I'm proud of. It disgust me. I don't want to be eaten... I absolutely will not let them eat us. The shipments, and the hunting, I hate it all. Even though they're the enemy. Just... What is the difference between a demon and I? Demons gave families and friends too. They think like us, laugh like us, and live like us. And though they eat humans... Which is something I absolutely despise. Demons do it for the same reason as humans. They do it to survive. All they're doing is eating. Is it okay to eradicate them just because they're the enemy? No matter how much I hate them, or how scared I am... Is there really no other way than eradicating them. Besides. Musica is our friend. I don't want to destroy Musica's family" Emma explained
"If that's how you really feel why didn't you sat anything yesterday?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at her
"I'm not saying anything. I won't argue with this choice. Because what everyone wants is a future where the demons are eradicated. And more than anything else... "The Seven Walls" could be something that won't work... If not eating humans makes it so they can't sustain their figure... If we can change the promise again, the demons will degenerate and that'll eventually be the same as eradicating them. I wish we had some alternative... But there isn't one. What should I do, Ray and Y/n? I don't know what to do"
