The two District 12 Victors had been through a lot. Their relationship had been pushed to the limits however, in the end, everything worked out.
Peeta, with the help of Katniss, was doing well with his recovery. He would ask Katniss what is real and what is not to uncloud his head from the manipulation he faced at the hands of Snow.
Years on from the execution and they had two kids: a daughter and a son, Willow and Rye.
The couple went through a large amount of strain on their relationship throughout the years, from being enemies to allies to friends to lovers to engaged to enemies to allies and then married with kids. Despite all this, they ended up together, just as they were destined to.
The star-crossed lovers reunited again in the end, for the two always did. They will live, laugh, love, and die together.
