"Beans!" Eda shouted.
"I'm up I'm up!" You jolt awake from your sleep as well as Luz, who falls off her chair.
"We ran out of Apple blood." Eda complained as she kicked the fridge door close.
"Still no luck?" She asked.
You and Luz have been researching all night to find a way to make a portal to the human realm. It took so long that you guys managed to sleep on the dinner table. Unfortunately, you found no information on the subject.
"None! We were up all night. We read every tome, book, notepad, and tea leaf!" Luz ranted.
"But we still have no idea how to make a portal." You explain.
"Sorry for making you pull an all-nighter with me Y/N." Luz apologized.
"Don't worry. Anything for you bro." You insisted.
"Bro..." Luz was touched.
"I'm sorry kids but my door was pretty old when I found it." Eda frowned.
"How long have you had it?" Luz asked.
"And where?" You added.
Before Eda could answer, you hear a blood hurdling scream from the living room.
You rush to the source and see Lilith on the ground, with her Owl Beast curse triggered. Feathers and talons grew in her hand as she struggled.
"Help me." She weakly pleaded.
Eda immediately helps her and gives her a potion.
"Calm down. The curse acts stronger when you're stressed." Eda explained as she helped Lilith take her potion.
You couldn't help but feel sorry for her. You weren't always in good terms with her but you felt bad regardless.
The feathers in her hands disappeared upon taking the elixir.
"That was horrible. How have you managed all these years?" Lilith gasped.
"Well it's been hard but since we split the curse at least the elixirs are working again." Eda smiled as she helped her up.
"That's a relief." Lilith sighed.
She raised her arm but her hand was missing.
"Aaaahhh!!"You and Luz couldn't help but scream, after seeing such a horrific sight. Lilith squealed a bit too.
"Oh yeah. Side effect of the curse. It's actually fun once in a while." Eda joked, picking up Lilith's hand and attaching it back her wrist.
"Now don't worry. I've stashed elixirs all over the house. Whenever you start feeling feathery, Just help yourself to one of these bad boys." Eda instructed as she showed every single spot she stashed her elixirs in.
"Oooo!" Luz clapped.
"That's pretty smart." You praised.
Eda and Luz walked outside while you stayed inside with Lilith who lied down the couch, feeling tired.
"Are you feeling ok?" You bashfully ask.
"I'm fine now. Just a bit tired." Lilith sighed.
While Eda and Luz were discussing things outside, you heard the strong howl of wind, gushing outside.
