Chapter Nine - Black & White

After joining up with Blake and Sun, Razer and Aya followed Blake and Sun back to the docks. When they arrived at the port, Aya began surveying the area. 

Razer: What are we looking at?

Blake: There's going to be a big shipment of Dust from the Schnee Dust Company.

Aya: The docks are surrounded by enemy combatants. They appear to be unloading their cargo. I'm detecting high levels of Dust from within the cargos. 

Blake: How did you....

Sun: Cool. I stole you some food!

Blake: Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?

Sun: Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?

Blake glares at Sun. Suddenly, the winds blows all around them, and they look up to see a Bullhead's searchlights flashing around for a landing spot, descending in the middle of the cargo containers and extending a ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.

Blake: Oh no...

Sun: Is that them?

Blake: Yes... It's them.

Sun: You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?

Blake: No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right.

As Blake says this, Razer spots an individual who didn't seem to be a member of the White Fang. 

Razer: Who is that?

Aya: Roman Torchwick, international criminal wanted for various crimes across Remnant. 

Blake: This isn't right. The White Fang would never work with a Human. Especially not one like that.

Razer: Then let's move. 

As Razer said this, the four confronted Roman Torchwick and the White Fang. 

Blake: Nobody move!

The White Fang soldiers ready their guns and equip their swords in response.

Roman: Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady.

As the White Fang closes in on her, Blake uses her free hand to go for her bow and remove it, causing the ribbon to fall away as her Faunus ears are shown to the world.

Blake: Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?

The White Fang members lower their weapons a little at this development, unsure of what to do, when Roman laughs.

Roman: Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?

Blake: What are you talking about?

Roman: The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!

While they seemed to be cornered, Razer uses his Red Lantern Ring to form a construct of a sword. Aya assumes a combative stance. 

Blake: Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation.

Suddenly, the air is filled with more turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup.

Roman: I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation...

Two more Bullheads are hovering above the heist, and as Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion. Razer used his Ring to protect both Blake and Aya. 

Roman: Here, kitty, kitty, kitty...

It was at this point that Razer launched an all out attack on the White Fang members. The White Fang militants proved powerless against the Red Lantern. Aya then joined Razer by firing at the White Fang militants with energy blasts from her hands. Suddenly, Ruby and Penny arrived much to the shock of Blake.

Blake: Ruby?!

Roman: Well, hello, Red! Isn't it past your bedtime?

Ruby: Let's get them, Penny!

As Roman focused his attack on Ruby, Penny revealed her impressive combat abilities. The fight quickly turned against Roman's favor as he cut his loses.

Roman: These kids just keep getting weirder...

As Roman makes his escape, Razer attempts to fire on Roman, but was attacked by a lone White Fang soldier when he strikes Razer in the face, disorienting him. During the attack, Aya assisted Razer by attacking the White Fang militant. When the White Fang militant was defeated, Aya helped Razer up. 

Aya: Are you okay?

Razer initially said nothing as he took a moment to catch his bearings. Suddenly, Razer spots another White Fang militant about to attack Aya. Without hesitation, Razer forms a construct of a clawed hand and grips the White Fang militant. He then slams the White Fang militant repeatedly against a car. After knocking him out, Razer turns to Aya. 

Aya: Thank you for the assistance, Razer.

 Razer said nothing as he found himself unable to make a proper response. Soon enough, Weiss and Yang arrive. A black limo then arrives to pick Penny up.

Ruby: Look Weiss, it's not what you think, she explained the whole thing. See, she doesn't actually have a bow, she has kitty ears and they're actually kind of cute...

Blake: Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the...

Weiss: Stop! Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you? Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours, I've decided...I don't care.

Blake was surprised at how Weiss was able to move past Blake's past. Razer himself was impressed at Weiss's ability to move past Blake's past as Weiss glances over to Razer. 

Weiss: I thought about what you said, Razer. And you're right. I had no right to condemn Blake. 

At this point, Razer couldn't help but smile. With that, Roman Torchwick's plot with the White Fang had failed. Razer considered this day to be a good day. Not only did Team RWBY overcome their differences yet again, but they gained more of Razer's respect. At the same time, Razer couldn't help but notice something strangely familiar about Aya. For now, Razer and Team RWBY would celebrate their victory. But what Razer and Team RWBY didn't know was that this plot was only the beginning of a much larger conspiracy that threatened the peace and stability of Remnant.
