As night became day, Gwen went and told max about the Loboan and how they had tied it up. Max took a few of the kids to go and investigate and when they arrived the group where shocked that it was still tied up.
Max: you say ben did this?
Gwen: yeah, it was that new alien. Ghostfreak.
Max: he got a new alien?
Gwen: we need to take him to see phil. The omnitrix is acting weird again. It changed him from echo echo to ghostfreak.
Max: I'll drop him off at the plumbers and circle back for you kids.
Bobo: why are you a kid magnet max?
Max: because I know how to take care of them.
Kevin: well hurry it up. I don't like just standing here in the desert.
Gwen: what else are we supposed to do?
Kevin groans as max and Bobo leave with the rest of the group of ben, rex, Kevin and Gwen just waited around. Eventually Kevin and rex raced around in circles. While waiting, not really figuring out who was faster as max returned and the six strapped themselves into the six front seats flying off and reaching the town where Phil lived.
Phil: so, to what do I ow the visit?
Ben: my watch has been bugging out. I unlocked a new alien, I've been calling him ghostfreak, and he's been taking me over. Last night when I was fighting some werewolf alien I jumped to ghostfreak and...
Kevin: he lay on the smack down and he managed to collapse a cave.
Phil: that is troubling. Let's take a look at your omnitrix.
As they enter his garage Kevin owned up to having the forever knight helmet and Phil looked at his slightly disappointed before getting back to the omnitrix.
Rex: lucy says that the DNA may come from the king of those ghost aliens and that might have something to with it. maybe the DNA is taking him over like the ghosts can do back on their home world.
Phil: it's a distinct possibility.
He places the Device from omni-tricked on it and he started receiving scans from the omnitrix. Receiving all of ben's 11 active aliens, ghost freak's energy being the strongest and Phill knew it. Phill altered the device's settings so that ghost freak's DNA pod should be blocked. And he explained so to ben.
Ben: is that it?
Phil: give it a try. Try changing into an alien.
He looks at the device and slams down on it, not checking what alien he'd get. Changing into Heatblast and he looked at his hands.
Ben: this seems to be good. Nothing so far.
Kevin changes into hotshot and he shoots a fire ball at ben
ben: what was that for?
Kevin: you switched as soon as you tried fighting that werewolf thing. So if you don't change while fighting you should be good.
Bobo: does this mean I can blast him?
Phil: Kevin surprisingly has a point. The readings I'm getting shows that something is happening within the omnitrix. It may be emotions that force ben to switch to ghostfreak.
Bobo: can I blast him?
Phil: try to overwhelm him.
Rex: what should I do?
Phil: I'd stay out of this one rex. Let those two have some fun.
As Kevin and Bobo keep on attacking ben, ben tries to fight back, finding himself eventually bursting out with a massive flame attack that throws he two back and lights some of Bobo's fur on fire, Bobo dropping and rolling as Kevin switches to undertow and covering Bobo in his green sludge.
Bobo: next time, warm me before you try to set me ablaze.
Ben: I don't know what got into me, I just felt so angry and like I had to do something.
Phil: it appears that ghostfreak is messing with your omnitrix and with that your emotions. It's fulling your aggression.
Ben: so I can't use the omnitrix?
Phil: until we I have a better understanding of what's going on. It's looking that way.
However as ben looks down at his omnitrix, a blue portal opens up and from it emerges professor paradox and ben prime, although this time he was missing his omnitrix.
