I woke up only to find the other side of the bed empty. I walked outside, to look for Aryan.
Wasn't he having an off today?
"Saisha, where is Aryan?" I asked her as she entered from the backyard.
"In the kitchen."
"What are you doing?" I entered the kitchen and looked at him, who was wearing an apron, and chopping some fruits.
"Breakfast?" He looked at me in between.
"What are you making?"
"Waffles, and smoothie." He replied without looking back at me.
"Oh my! I love waffles!" I smiled widely.
"Pass the flour box please." He asked cracking two eggs in a bowl.
I opened the cabinet and tried to reach the top shelf, but I couldn't.
"Help me Aryan, I can't reach till that box."
"Oh problems of being short." He made a tsk sound.
"Oh please! I am not short!" He walked up towards me, and in no time, picked me up.
He could easily reach the box, but look at him?
I looked down at him and raised my eyebrows.
"What? Now you can surely reach the box, pick it up." I looked back towards the cabinet, and picked up the box, and he put me down.
"Ouch, I am sure I sprained my hand." He said dramatically.
"Kal toh bade hero ban rahe thhe?" I crossed my arms looking at him. "You're becoming too dramatic!" I rolled my eyes.
"Effects of staying with you, Miss chatterbox!" He moved towards me, and smiled, poking my nose.
"Just make this smoothie, until I make the waffles." He said and I walked towards the blender. After preparing the breakfast, we both had it together.
"Try this one." He bought the fork towards me.
"What's the difference?" I looked at mine, and then his.
