me and hayley are sitting in the car outside of school. i told my mom i have a game to cheer at after school. 6 to 8. i don't know what the plan is after the game. i wanted jayden to come over after since she never been over my place. but i know how it might end. either we're fucking or we're not. and she's not ready for that so i don't wanna make that impression asking her to come over after a game. hayley's coming to my game since my mom will be at work and hayley doesn't wanna be home alone. especially not after last night she swore she heard noises while i wasn't there😂. i love hayley she's my partner in crime. my besties are gonna come too. everyones gonna meet Jayden tonight. i'm nervous. i have another softball game tomorrow night and friday is our date night. there's a lot of plans.

"our girls basketball team is gonna lose tonight again nchs" hayley says

i raise my eyebrows, "tell me about it sister" i say

"is jayden a good player?" she asks

i smile, "she says she is and i believe she is with all the practicing her school has her doing during and after school" i say

hayley smirks, "she plays volleyball and basketball she must be good" she says

"i think she has her last volleyball game monday or something" i say

"you're gonna go?" she asks

i shrug, "it'll be in la not san diego" i say

"she drove 2 hours for your home game here you can drive 2 hours to hers" she says

i chuckle, "ok hayley i will" i say

her phone starts ringing. she rolls her eyes, "ugh your big head bestie mari's calling me" she says

i laugh as she answers, "what meathead?" hayley says

she put it on speaker. mari giggles, "where's your sister at she's not answering the groupchat"

"she's right next to me we're outside the school in the car" hayley says

"is she ok?" he asks

one thing about my best friends is that they are always looking out for me. they can always tell when something's off, "im ok mari" i say

"really? after seeing jayden and having that big fight with vinnie you were off after that you completely ghosted everyone" mar says

hayley scrunches her eyebrows at me, "you fought with vinnie?" she asks

"yeah and i didnt ghost everyone. i still talked to jayden for a little until i lied to her telling her i was going to sleep at 10. i stayed up until 11 to just think." i say

"vinnie really hurt you a lot and i know it.. he opened up wounds" mar says

i shook my head slowly, "maybe he did... but what could i do about it? i wasn't about to argue with jayden's cousin infront of her family" i say

"vinnie hurt you?" hayley asks me softly

i look her in her eyes softly. my eye start to bat to avoid the tears filling my eyes even more than they already were, "hayley i think it's time we get out the bell rings in 10 minutes now" i say softly

"i'll see you guys inside" mar says before hanging up.

i grab my backpack and get out the cars grabbing my car keys after. hayley gets out and i lock the doors. we start to walk to the front door, "jules you can always talk to me remember that." hayley says to me
