i'm in the kitchen at the table eating cereal with hayley. my mom is cleaning the kitchen. i did go to the doctor yesterday and my wrist is sprained so i'm in a wrist wrap currently. for a week. so i can't play in the game next week. i wanna tell hayley what jayden told me last night but i think hayley likes her for the most part. i don't want hayley to not like jayden. but i also need to talk to someone about this. my best friends would flip and i'm not telling ryder anything like that. and god i am NOT telling my mom she would start hating her like how she did joey. i didn't cry over jayden kissing her but i got mad and entertained someone else for a little on flirty shit. and i told jayden that's what i was doing while we were still on facetime. we got into a fight and she hung up on me. we probably won't talk all day again.

i side eye hayley. she's eating her breakfast and scrolling through tiktok, "yo hayley" i say

hayley looks at me, "i wanna tell you something but promise you won't say anything to anybody about it" i say

"is it jayden related?" she asks

i nod and she smiles, "tell me" she says

oh lord. i gulp, "well umm... jayden told me that she kissed devenity last sunday" i say softly so she'll only hear.

hayley drops her phone in shock. i nod, "yeaaah" i say

hayley looks at mom and then back at me, "and you're just cool with that?" she whisper yells

i scrunch my eyebrows, "fuck no i texted another bitch and told her what's what i was doing" i say softly

hayley laughs which made me laugh, "that's my girl" she says

we high five, "but then we got into a fight and she hung up on me so now we're not talking" i say

"she can't be mad when she kissed the bitch who ruined your last relationship" she whispers

i smile, "exactly what i'm saying" i say

mom came up to us, "what are you girls talking about?" mom asks

"school" we lie

mom raises her eyebrows, "well for the weekend you kids will be in la at your father's house because i'm going on another trip for the weekend" mom says

"why can't we go with you for the weekend?" hayley asks

i nod in agreement, "because i only have one flight ticket next weekend i scheduled for you girls to come with me to florida" mom says before smiling

we got excited, "fuck yes i've always wanted to go to florida where all the fine bitches are" i say

hayley and my mom look at me, "first off language and what happened to jayden?" mom says

"me and jayden aren't talking right now we fought last night" i say

"it's a long story don't ask" hayley says to my mom

"you girls are always fighting what is up with you guys? is she like joey?" mom asks

i scrunch my eyebrows, "ew no she's far from that. we're just in the complicated stage of talking, healing, sexual stuff, and kissing" i say

"you had sex with her before even making it official????" mom asks in shock

hayley chuckles, "my same reaction" she says

"i mean mom i know it was stupid but i feel like she's not gonna do me wrong so i gave in" i say

"but that's how people get the mindset of leaving you. you did that with joey and look how that ended." mom says
