my basketball game is tomorrow night so i won't see jules until after. she's coming to my game it's a home game so she'll come to la and i think her mom is on another trip today until sunday so she's going to la for the weekend again. which means i can see her all weekend😌. i'm excited for valentine's day tomorrow i just don't know what to get her. i think i either wanna hangout w dev and do the video today or do it saturday. since jules will be in la and jules won't be busy saturday either so she can come along with us. i told dev like for real jules isn't gonna let me hangout with her alone unless i ask and she's gonna wanna come with me. i'm ready for school i'm dressed now i'm downstairs at the counter eating breakfast my mom made.

"oh. i kinda forgot to tell you guys this. me and jules are girlfriends now." i say to my mom

she raises her eyebrows with a smile, "about time but i had a feeling when katie started being closer with you" mom says

i smile a little, "katie loves me" i say

she smiles, "what are you going to give jules on valentines?" she asks

"i don't know yet i already got her a promise ring she wears it i might just get her special roses and a teddy bear and buy her food as always maybe a card" i say

"that sounds nice BUT if you really wanna wow her take her on a helicopter ride at night above the city" mom says

i drop my jaw. my mom is smart, "that's smart but what if she's afraid of heights i kinda am" i say

"ask her today before you schedule a helicopter ride if you want to you don't have to do that you could take her to dinner or to the swan boats and just ride on the water at night it's very relaxing your father took me there" mom says

i smile, "i'll ask her what she has planned for us i feel like she's gonna go all out she's a gifter i heard from people" i say

she smiles a little, "well whatever you two do be safe it gets dangerous on the streets of la oh and katie is gone so jules and hayley may come stay with us for tonight if they can't go anywhere else" mom says

i got so excited, "they're staying the night???" i ask

"calm down it's not final yet katie asked me if it was ok if they stay with us if they can't find anyone closer in san diego to stay with and i'll take them to school the next morning since i have to drive to san diego for some paperwork anyways" mom says

i smile, "so it's up to jules and hayley is what you're saying?" i ask

she nods, "i know jules is going want to come here so listen she can't sleep in your room it's a rule for you and your brother's so she'll be in the other room with her sister i don't mind her coming in to hangout with you for some time but i know what happens when she's looking at you with those eyes she's charming and i do not wanna be woken up by sex noises" mom says

i laugh, "we don't have sex" i lie

"don't lie" mom says

"we don't" i lie

"jayden" mom says

how does she know i'm lying? "yes?" i ask

she raises her eyebrows, "trust me. i know." she says

might as well give in, "what makes you think that?" i ask

"her mother told me because jules told her i saw jules's hickeys and i see the way she looks at you she's in love with you deep jayden i think it's adorable but you don't have to lie to me about sex stuff whether it's girl on girl or boy on girl i'm not going to get mad at you especially not with someone like jules" mom says
