11. Suddenly

Cronus POV

  [Boss I need more time]

  Bigla kong narinig na sabi ni Nenji at nagpa balik sa akin sa reyalidad.

  [No need to look anymore... I just found her]

  May narinig pa akong sinasabi si Nenji pero di ko na inintindi pa. I walked straight to the lady's direction but stop at the middle. Bakit parang kinabahan ako. Kaba na parang hindi ko pa naramdaman sa buong buhay ko. Am I scared?... Tanong ko sa sarili ko. I looked at the woman... No she's not yet a woman but not a girl anymore, wearing a white dress with short sleeve. Her face don't have any make up on. It's bare but beautiful. She looks so innocent. When she smiled I feel like I'm smiling too.

  "Sister Luz who is this pretty young girl with you?". I heard na sabi ng isa sa mga kaibigan ni Mommy.

  Lumakad pa ako ng kaunti habang nasimsim ng champagne palapit sa lugar nila para marinig ko ang pinag uusapan nila.

  "Ah, ito nga pala si Phenny she's turning eighteen at malapit na syang madis charge sa orphanage because she's going to become an adult na. Ang gusto ko po sana ay maihanap sya ng mapapasukan bago sya tuluyang lumabas ng orphanage". Mahabang pagpapakilala at paliwanag ni Sister Luz.

  Medyo nagulat ako ng malaman kong ulila na pala sya. I feel sorry or pity... Actually hindi maintindihan ang nararamdaman ko ngayon except... I want her to be with me and I want to protect her, be her shelter.

  "You can give her to us, we need another maid".

  Isang mataba at may edad na lalaki ang biglang nag offer ng job kay Sister Luz.

  "Naku hijo, because you're so busy parang nakakalimutan mo na ata ang pagtakbo ng oras". Malakas nyang sabi na parang nagpaparinig.

  I chuckled and saw younger ladies blushed, some giggles while the others fan their eyelashes seductively. I simply looked at Phenny's little cute face and to my dismay boredom lang ang nakikita ko. Damn!... Is this girl for real?... Parang wala ata akong appeal kahit konti sa kanya ah.

  "So... What's going on here, parang may nag ooffer ng job dito ah... Anyone looking for a job?". Patay malisya kong sabi and I saw how she looked at me. Those beautiful golden orb of her with her most innocent gaze. I was star struck and bewitch by them.

"Ah Sir Cronus... Ito po si Phenny hinahanapan ko ng trabaho kahit kasambahay lang po. Mabait po itong batang to at masipag". Sabat agad ni Sister Luz sa akin. "Phenny bumati ka kay Sir Cronus, isa ang pamilya nya na nag ii sponsor sa orphanage natin".

  I watched Phenny slowly turned her gaze at me. Her golden orbs looked straight to my dark brown ones with no fear and full of honesty. She slowly smile and my heart race. Sumobra na ang kaba ko na parang lulundag na ang puso ko palabas ng bibig ko. From that moment one thing is I know for sure... I want her to be mine... Only mine.... And I will kill anyone who will take her from me.

  I can feel now the so called curse of the Montague. The Montague traits of being possessive and obsess. According to my great great grand father, all Montague have Lycan bloods and we only believed in one mate in our lifetime. Sounds surreal and crazy but every Montague who falls in love never fall out of love and the worst part is they became possessive and obsess with their love ones. Also they became more cruel to those people who have ill intentions to the person they love. I used to laugh when my grandfather told me that story but I can almost see his laughing face at me now that I am in this situation. But I don't care because starting today... Phenny is mine.
